I’m not a vocal coach but to me it looks like he’s lip syncing, all the movement and emotions he’s showing yet it doesn’t cause distortions in his voice in this video where he’s clearly trying to portray that he’s singing this live in front of the mic. Also it sounds extremely enhanced to an almost robotic state like it’s not a genuine live performance which would lead me to bet almost everything I own that the audio in this video was pre recorded and edited then he lip synced the video in front of the mic to pass it off as a live performance because he just has an average good singing voice and does mash ups of famous hit songs because he’s not a talented song writer which pretty much makes him the equivalent of a good karaoke singer. I know that was a long sentence but I guarantee I’m right about every word of it.
The video is pre recorded as are most of his covers, almost everyone who listens to him knows that the video is just filmed for ''Effect''. He is a very talented singer and just watch any of his live performances and you will see what I mean. Also if he wasn't a talented song writer he wouldn't have amazing original songs and a number one album.
Yeah I don’t understand why people like the overproduced vocals. Or the fake live performances. He could be a good singer but I can’t tell because those effects could make even the worst singer sound just like him.
