I'm trying to give my Canary-winged parakeets and my parrotlet fresh mealworms (canned, from Exotic Nutrition food), but they ignore mealworms so far.
Once the babies are grown, do you think their biological parents will recognize them? My assumption is not, but I didn't know if you knew from experience.
I was wondering that and I can't wait until I let them out in the bird room to see what happens. It will be interesting.
Was that Bourke mother young / first time mother, was it a reason? Or it just happens and it's hard to know - why?
It was her first time that her eggs hatched. She has laid eggs before but did not hatch. She is 5. She was focused on incubating the eggs instead of feeding and keeping the babies warm.
Can you do a new feeding video for all the animals?
I will put it on my list for a future video
