I'm 63 and never watched snooker in my life. A few months ago, RUclips suggested "All of Ronnies 147's". I watched it out of curiosity and got hooked. I now watch multiple matches per week (past tournaments) and can really appreciate how good this guy truly is.
It was about 4-5 years ago for me, and I got hooked, so bad in fact that I bought an old 10' Wenco American snooker table and fully restored it. Took a whole year and I was just finished a month ago. So it's been pretty much 1 month of nonstop snooker. The pockets on this table are incredibly tight, 75mm, and just making a ball is a reward. There's no place here in the states to play snooker so I only had one choice. Current high break is just a 30......LOL

Since I never knew anything about snooker until this year, I have assumed for the last 40 years that there were just some really big pool tables out there, and wondered why I never saw another one! That's how popular snooker is over here. What a great sport though. Have fun with your table!

Id kill to have space for even a 10" like you, thats super cool, but also playing on a full size is a really cool experience that is worth seeking out.

In terms of how you feel watching somebody play the game, I get that not everyone brings the vibes. For me I don't feel at all bothered about seeing Ding, Selby and Kyren Wilson. Nothing against them. It's just like that. Used to have that with Mark Allen too but not anymore
This shows just how much work and effort Ronnie has to put in on the mental side of the game. He's absolutely shattered, and it is very moving how generous and warm he is to Trump despite it all. A great great pair of men. Deserving of all the adulation they receive. ❤

I think it's Trump who's generous here - Ronnie is in a complete state, and Trump has just lost the final. You can see the moment Trump clocks that Ronnie has genuinely gone to bits and is opening up to him, and it takes him by surprise. Despite probably being gutted with losing, Trump takes the moment to listen, and to respond with some amazing heartfelt words to Ronnie. I genuinely think this is one of the most unique sporting moments caught on film, especially given the context of the Ronnie documentary on Amazon. Awesome

@@GDI-disc-accepted the mans had the world on his shoulders since a teenager and has still won everything there is to win. Hes 40+ and still playing his best snooker. If you dont know anything about him ya should look him up. He did a 147 in 5 minutes at one of the majors. The man is a genius

I've always been a fan of Ronnie and Judd. I started watching snooker because of these two. I never thought Judd has this much respect for Ronnie, and Ronnie treating him like a disciple. Wow, just wow. Since the final, I was wondering what Judd and Ronnie had talked about, but today I know. Thank you for uploading this video, it was much needed. My respect for both just quadrupled.
My nan ain't here no more but when she was she always looked forward to watching Ronnie play snooker, never missed him and she would of loved seeing him win again. Well done ronnie 👍
my nan is still watching. we started watching together and the main reason was Ronnie. couldn't believe what he was doing on the table and told her she has to see this magician. I'm glad she's still here, so we can watch another world cup

Ronnie has to work harder than anyone else due to.his mental health. And to be battling that and performing like he still is at his age is incredible. The best British sports person of all time. Can't imagine snooker without him and i am sure i am not the only one.
I love Ronnie so much, and knowing the mental and emotional challenged mental health issues cause, and he does not allow them to hold him back. It takes a toll, I know how it feels in life. Just love the man

Everyone at this point has heard of Ronnie but watching from time to time it just seems like snooker is a relaxing and chilled sport but this...this right here made me understand just how much pressure and dedication it takes. They always seem so cool and calm, almost stoic to an extent but hearing this audio made me tear up. A legend gaining even more legendary status 👏
Huge respect to both Judd and Ronnie for what they did to this amazing game of billiards. Ronnie in particular changed how people perceive this game. After playing so many breaks above 140 one cannot deny that he's a GOAT of snooker. Thank you Ronnie.
Ronnie never had the character to win a grueling tournament that lasts two weeks solid, so he had to go through the pain of losing for a while to grow enough to finally develop the character to get over the winning line. The pressure is immense, we see what it did to Jimmy White who also wasn't a robot like Hendry, Higgins, Selby and Roberton. Look what's happening to John Higgins, one of the greatest players to play the game and it's killing him out there, the pressure that is. Ronnie is no. 1 at 48, it's ridiculous and shouldn't be happening with the standard that's around him all the time.
Remember me dad coming in after a 12hr shift on a blast furnace bk in the 70s all upset he could hardly walk the heat was terrible he was saying the same thing to me mam. Its stuck in my head .
Anybody, and I mean ANYBODY that has dedicated and sacrificed their life and time away from family, to something like a professional sports person, deserves respect and admiration. I remember watching this live and having no idea what was happening apart from a hug on live tv longer than any other id ever seen. The level of focus needed to play Snooker is on a neurological level. Precision and accuracy, that’s boggling.. that was emotional. After all the snooker Ronnie O’Sullivan has played and won and he still feels so motivated and driven still to play is remarkable, beautiful athlete, beautiful sportsman, stunning person… And Bravo Judd Trump. A fine humble man. Also i hope Ronnie’s elder daughter can find forgiveness and stop denying his granddaughter from meeting him
All of these lads that play snooker professionally are brilliant and us mere mortals will never achieve their level of excellence. But even within their professional community there are some players that stand out. Both these lads are in the Elite category of the game. Since 1984 I've followed snooker, Alex Higgins, Jimmy White were my favs back in the day then Ronnie came along and blew us all away. Absolute Legend.
I never had the chance to meet Alex Higgins or Ronnie, but I will always cherish the time I had with Jimmy White.

All in all I think that Hendry actually came really close. If he didn't finish his career so early, Ronnie may not achieve as many trophy as he did.
If he wasn't constantly battling his mental demons, he'd have ten now easily. The fact he is in that battle and still world number one, what a player.

Everyone at this point has heard of Ronnie but watching from time to time it just seems like snooker is a relaxing and chilled sport but this...this right here made me understand just how much pressure and dedication it takes. They always seem so cool and calm, almost stoic to an extent but hearing this audio made me tear up. A legend gaining even more legendary status 👏

Huge respect to both Judd and Ronnie for what they did to this amazing game of billiards. Ronnie in particular changed how people perceive this game. After playing so many breaks above 140 one cannot deny that he's a GOAT of snooker. Thank you Ronnie.
Ronnie never had the character to win a grueling tournament that lasts two weeks solid, so he had to go through the pain of losing for a while to grow enough to finally develop the character to get over the winning line. The pressure is immense, we see what it did to Jimmy White who also wasn't a robot like Hendry, Higgins, Selby and Roberton. Look what's happening to John Higgins, one of the greatest players to play the game and it's killing him out there, the pressure that is. Ronnie is no. 1 at 48, it's ridiculous and shouldn't be happening with the standard that's around him all the time.

I remember watching this live and having no idea what was happening apart from a hug on live tv longer than any other id ever seen. The level of focus needed to play Snooker is on a neurological level. Precision and accuracy, that’s boggling.. that was emotional. After all the snooker Ronnie O’Sullivan has played and won and he still feels so motivated and driven still to play is remarkable, beautiful athlete, beautiful sportsman, stunning person… And Bravo Judd Trump. A fine humble man. Also i hope Ronnie’s elder daughter can find forgiveness and stop denying his granddaughter from meeting him
