I have a question about matching speakers. In my 5.1.2 set up, I currently have two brands of speakers. I use Elac debut 2.0s for the LCR and Polk T15s for the surround and top middle Atmos. I am planning on upgrading to a Denon X3800H so that I can experiment with an Auro 3d 9.1 set-up as well as have a 5.1.4 Atmos set-up. I plan on buying matching set of the Elac Debut 2.0 speakers. My question is should I place the new set of Elac 2.0's in the bed layer so all of the bed layer speakers match, seems like the best for Atmos, but for Auro 3D should I use the Elac's for the Front and Front Heights and the Polk's for the Surround and rear heights?
Anyone know if you can use a powered speaker for the VOG channel as opposed to buying a separate amp and speaker combo? I am using all 9 powered channels of the x3800h to do auro 9.1 and wanted to cheaply upgrade to auro 10.1. I figured timbre matching for the 1 vog channel wouldnt be important.
His reply was pretty clear. Dipole are meant to create a faux rear channel. So the answer is no, they won't work the way you had hoped. IF big IF the rear facing pair of speakers was on a different channel then that would work better, but that's not how dipole speakers work is it?

Channa interrupting the professor in the middle of his flow with " ooh ooh " because Channa was so excited about the subject matter. ❤🔥❤🔥

does bipole work as rear bed layer....?
So I'm confused now. Can I use my dipole speakers on the sides at earlevel (!) for Auro3D and Auromatic?

Why can he just answer the question? I still did know what the answer is
