Okay, note for everybody, you do not have to take anything apart beside the back side shield from the headlamps, there is enough space to get your hand back there to install the HID lamps.

    35W or 55W ?

    • @danblyum

35W -- They're more than powerful enough and I've heard many other people say that 55W burns out the bulbs/ballasts a lot quicker.

    hey, do these still work?

+Zion Max Hi, the bulbs still do but one of the ballasts broke after 6 months. I replaced both slim ballasts with normal metal ones. Those work a lot better, I've had no problems with them and the bulbs heat up to operating temp a lot quicker. See the link to see what I'm referring to: www.ebay.com/itm/Motorcycle-Car-35W-DC-Electronic-Digital-HID-Conversion-Ballast-For-XENON-Light-/140976069333?hash=item20d2d41ad5:g:9zEAAOxyjxlTK-P5&vxp=mtr

i understand u worked hard on the video but anyone who puts hids without a hid projector is wasting their money. not only that but you blind every1 on the road for your selfishness. They make halogen bulbs that work much better than these cheap ass lights and the halogens are half the price.
if you decide to retrofit your e30, its super easy. Overall, you end up spending in the $300 range and have the same output (depending equip used) as the new bimmers.
these cheap hid kits are turning into the new rice mod.
