Look at you with your snap on mig welder not even mine is that posh 😂🤣 but mine is gas/flux mig tig and mma and mine will only weld up to 5mm thick I've over 25 years experience and must say you did a great job on that and don't blame you doing just the bottom of the wing any body else would of changed the whole wing dont see many MK3 is it not a vw expert around now 👍
Thanks, that's not my best welding. The welder is a bit shit even if it is snap on. Yer, I didn't want to replace the whole wing because new ones don't fit well. Mk3 are just getting popular, so nows the time to buy one .thanks
@@jerryexplores7587 I don't use my one alot now as I don't do welding in my spare time for people now only friends or family as got sick of people expecting it for next to nothing and I was fair on the price of the jobs I used to do and I used to get loads of work but don't need the hassle
It's the first time I see a guy using an angle saw without removing the fender, not to mention the spark protection.Putty on the old sheet metal with the new one without epoxy primer, in addition, welded tired putty is for weak people because tough people know that this crap is not used.
There is no need to remove the wing, and you put chemical metal straight onto metal. That's what it's designed for, and it's my car so I can do what I want.
