Hi Lindsey. I just came across your RUclips video whilst flicking through. We met on the Camino 2022. You will probably remember I was with my hubby, sister and daughter (Steve, Sally, Meryl and Michelle). It was our first Camino and we absolutely loved it. Back home now and looking at RUclips videos because I miss it so. Just wanted to say hi and love your video, easy watching, informative and well made. Well done you clever pair. I will look out for more. Sally
Hi Sally! Of course I remember you and your family. Andrew and I both thought you all genuinely inspirational, for the way you’ve approached it and made it work-you’ve got us thinking of how we might do something similar in future-and that you hope to return and do it again. Do you think you will? We’ll walk from Sarria to the coast next June, initially avoiding main stopping points. It’d be nice to keep in touch somehow? Please wave at Steve from us both! You might spot him in my Roman Route videos!
@@lindseyhollandwalks making plans to repeat the Frances next May and the Portugués next September. There’s no stopping us now, we’ve got the bug. I’ve subscribed so should see your new videos. Buen camino. Xx
Looking back last year, I never wear a mask outside, only inside with lots of people around. Yes you are right these were strange times. I am planning to go to Santiago next year 2023 but I am less ambitious as I will only do the last 100 miles and I will take a 15 day vacation to have time to smell the flowers… and enjoy Santiago for a few days.

That sounds to me an absolutely wonderful way of doing it! I hope you have a fantastic, immersive experience of the Camino this way

Have I seen you on the Camino Forum, Ivar's webpage?
Probably! I’m on there as Lhollo. It’s an excellent forum. I’m surprised more pilgrims on the Camino don’t use it but when I ask, few do
