Landscaping with orchids is not so common, and I really like the idea. Most of the time it is the Dens and Phals that are used for this. Their sturdiness and shorter interval from seed to flowering plant is most likely the reason why! They are not my favorite genera, but I can appreciate how beautiful a well thought and well planed arrangement of those on trees can be in an open garden! Thanks for sharing!
The speaker at our meeting uses vandas a lot for their landscaping. I still cannot grow those very well. I did learn a lot from their presentation - about placement and color. I tend to focus on individual flowers but need to take a step back and see the whole plant and area!
@@plantpropagator I have to admit that my healthiest vandas are the ones out in the garden, associated with palm trees. ! But that may also be because my shade house is thought for Cattleyas in the first place.
Thanks for watching and for your comment. I did not make these Dens- only grew them. I am hoping that some of my new hybrids will also put on a nice show!!
There are a lot of chimes in the neighborhood and they really penetrate the air. We do have a set ourselves but I usually try to silence them when I make videos - forgot this time. Thanks for your comment!

Thanks - these guys are so easy to grow here - I just stick them on the tree or put them on my top shelf and bam, they just grow!!
