Did you try it with their mineral veil primer? I know you love that primer. And it says to use a primer. Maybe that'll help prolong the life of the foundation? I know you used the smashbox primer water. But on other days when you wore the foundation, did you try different primers? Just curious! Love the pineapple system.

Everybody else I've seen reviewing this foundation have swiped thick layers on, complained about it getting a bit cakey in places on application (it's an inch thick chaps!) and how quickly they will get through it. Finally the truth!
I'm more on the normal/dry side at the moment so I'm thinking it might some worth trying.
It’s seems if you use a good pore-filling primer like Tatcha sill canvas and some blotting product it’s be great!! Awesome review I watched all the way through ((barely ever do that)) keep up the good hard work!

8.5 was generous! Lol! I had the same issues.. It's beautiful at first but for me within 2 hours it was breaking down and making my face look both dry & even oiler than normal.. It was weird! I tried different primers, setting powders & application methods. Nothing worked! I wanted to love this!! Grrrr...

I am returning this. Like you said, it only looks good and super full coverage for the few hours. After that, it just goes downhill from there. I get very oily even though I use Hourglass mineral veil primer, set with powder, then with their ambient lighting powder in dim light. My face looks dirty and very textured and cakey at the end of the day.
On a TV show in Australia as a child they rated books and movies with 'Spuds' as in potatoes. I much prefer your 🍍 rating but I also give this video 🖐🏽out of 🖐🏽 Spuds!!!

So leighann, let's talk oily skin because, hi, that's me. I just started using the Too Faced Cocoa Powder foundation. Not as high coverage as it seems the hourglass one is, but I literally don't get oily (except my forehead occasionally) all day. I also hate spending money, but this product has been worth every penny in my opinion. I would give it a try. You don't have to set it, you can reapply throughout the day without it lookin' ratchet. It's just pretty wonderful. 💁🏼
