few tips i always remember would be 1. ER over anything while building your character, a good rotation is always better than a clunky one because almost all characters has their burst as the best part of their kit. 50/100 Xiangling with 200 ER would clear the abyss better than 75/200 with 150 ER 2. If possible try to make a team based on the blessings 3. Play with the card(s), it will be reset along with the server daily so do your abyss early that way you can juggle between them. In general the best card would be crit -> atk -> em
This video is life changing. I have always wanted a content creator to go in this amount of depth and touch on important stuff. Thank you so much. Hope you will make it a series for every abyss reset or atleast detailed videos on different enemies that are common in abyss so that its easier to work on a battle plan
I've been 36*ing the abyss since I've started genshin this year. I'm a small spender. I can't imagine FTP 36*ing the abyss consistently without having near perfect foresight of high value units. On top of how long it takes to build teams with limited distributed resources. And It's not always fun building characters only for their meta value. Not even PTW players can build freely. It still takes quite a while to complete solid comps.
In the long run you only need 10 units that are interchangable to make a diversity of team for specific type of chambers. Like elemental solo teams for specific boss elements, aoe cc teams. There are other teams that are usually viable in a lot of chambers whith some character variations that can fit your favourite character despite not being the most optimal.
Nice tips. If only the game was telling us what each enemy is weak to etc, a lot of time it's just guesswork if I don't want to spend half an hour looking up Wiki for each monster. Fortunately floors 9-11 are no longer major problem for me regardless of what is in there so I have more mental energy left for floor 12.
Pretty much me on my first time doing spiral abyss. It was a lot (like A LOT) of trial and error. Since I have more experience now since I started playing in 1.1, its easy coming up with a team comp. Tbh having an archive for the enemy stats would be the most QoL thing for us players.
Most of the time it's about their colors. And usually if they have a very high resistance there's a way to knock that Resistance to reduce that element too. There are exceptions but in the long run you'll start learning all of them to not rely on wiki anymore.
@@Larkian then you have the rifthounds who are weak to the color representing their elements. I know its only them but come on they are the most tanky pieces of crap if you don't use their weakness.
7:01 Instead of going for the Lawachurl, we can also go to the abyss mage, because the Lawachurl will jump to us anyway :D While waiting for the Lawachurl to jump, just use the timed elemental burst for i-framing the abyss mage electro ring (?) and also to negate the damage from Lawachurl's jump.
Mihoyo should remove , too many players (including me) are abusing that thus making the game a lot easier. You heard a lot about those sweaty tryhards complaining about the game is too easy or Spiral Abyss is too easy. But why we never hear them shout about removing ? They should start doing that.
@@tingybong by completely sprint out of the attack area. For example when a Thunderhelm Lawachurl smashes the ground, we need to sprint out of the whole smashing area, instead of just abusing the dodging the attack INSIDE THE SMASHING AREA like I've been doing for years 😎. It would be fun and bring the game to a whole new level don't you think?
This video is AWESOME! Thank you very much for explaining from floor 9. I wish I saw this video 2 months ago when I was struggling to clear floor 9. Abyss is really really really hard for new players like me. Even though I manage to get good 5star like ZhongLi , ganyu, kokomi, venti, Nahida, yoimiya and have good 4 stars like Benny, xingqiu, XiangLing, sucrose, fischl, Diona, Kuki. Yet since don't have good weapons and artifacts ( especially artifacts!) Abyss is a nightmare. I bring the same characters that is shown in showcase but I always die. Example: my national sucrose team have never succeeded even once in floor 10 last chamber. The artifact is rigged. It feels like 70 percent Def main stat. 20 percent HP , 5 percent attack. So it's like only 5 percent chance of finally getting ER,EM, crit, element buff... ( That's just main stat, don't even talk about sub-stat) It feels like using lockbox 117 times to finally get a decent artifact! ( Decent is correct main stat and 2 correct sub stat!) I was always wondering why my yoimiya using R1 rust have so much time killing stuff when I see people doing exploration with her doing 10k at first hit and ends with 40k last hit. My yoimiya only doing 1k at first hit... For undergeared players like me, we really need these strategy video to help us clear the floor. Forget about stars for the time being!
Manifestation attacks are not random, if you are away from her when she spinns on you she will do ranged attacks + tp, if you stay close and she spinns in the same spot then she’ll continue attacking from that position and will not tp to the center
I don't understand about thunder manifestation. I stand right in front of it when the 2 electro wall hit me YET it teleport away? Am I supposed to successfully dodge or i-frame? I usually switch to ZhongLi and tank that 2 electro walls.
@@arzonong7363 You are supposed to dodge it at the very last moment. And just *dodge* not *running away* Otherwise you will trigger its ranged attack. TF will indeed teleport but won't be far away for you to chase to prevent it from using ranged attack (long spin / electro cage)
No it's random. I used Bennet inspiration field to unga-bunga him and it still TP away. Also it had this annoying AI against Ayaka where he ALWAYS TP when Ayaka ult unless you wait for it to TP first. This include supposedly impossible timing like when it's using the double wall where it TP'd before the wall even close away from Ayaka burst. The combination of Rifthound daddy and Thunder batsies random ass TP made me skip that floor with 2 stars and later came back with super specialized team just for 12-1.. I beat 12-2 and 3 with 3 stars easy but I had to "cheat" for 12-1 for my sanity. 12-1 reminds me why Inazuma enemy design is just pure evil for abyss
Something I've learned while playing is that you can directly attack shield enemies by freezing them as well!! I use Ayaka and Barbara to achieve this and it works really well!!
You deserve more views for your videos. You provide more nuanced tips than the average Genshin channel does, with less “filler” too imho. Great work, subbed.
This NEEDS to happen for every future spiral abyys 🤣🤣 I didn't know any of the enemy resistances and this video makes me see that it'll be a lot easier if I did Usually I just brute force my way through floors 9, 10 and 11, but 12 is usually too hard to do that with, I'll try these teams and hope for the best!
Thank you so much bro this helped me so much cuz I'm a returner after over 7 months of non play and was trying to find some good help on abyss with characters that i own. Definitely helped Subscribed :)
Woahh thank YOU! This really helpful after watching your video and using your recommended team comp i am finally able to clear the abyss and 36 full stars for the first time!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 please do one for the next spiral abyss 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🔥🔥⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Sat through this whole video even though I haven't had to think about 36 starring abyss for over a year now...ngl I kinda miss it, the team drafting process and taking all these factors into consideration. I wish they would make a more difficult version (no rewards necessary but it'd be nice lmao) for endgame players, just to test our damage ceiling if nothing else.
Good video. Didnt learn much as I use basically these exact methods already. There were a couple of resistance I didnt know about, like fungus mobs having Dendro resistance on top of their corespondin elemenral resistance. I kinda instant kill them anyway so it doesnt matter that much but its still good Intel to have. Also really cool that you used Aloy. I love her character, shes adorable. But since shes not that strong no one ever use her. Glad to see her get some screen time. 😁
Pulling abilities come useful more often, but Freeze is generally better against stronger elite enemies that have more poise/weight and thus won't be pulled and disrupted so easily
You know been seeing this channel a lot and somehow I feel like it's underrated. But then again not everyone look up an analysis on beating abyss. It's more how a new unit or weapon. Good stuff my dude keep it going.
I hated every single chamber in this one From CORROSION to RUNNING AROUND From getting dragged by LINE BREAKERS to ONE SHOT FROM CRYO LAWACHURLS From needing ARCHER to THAT STUPID GEO FATUI THAT WON`T GROUP UP WITH THE EREMITE
Here's another tip... MUSIC! Not kidding, I was terrible at this till I made a Playlist of songs for doing the abyss. Pick music that pumps you up the most. And start with the short songs of like 1 to 2 min cause those floors are easy, I finished them before a song can do its last verse. Then around floor 11 & 12 the songs are like over 3 and a half minutes long. You won't get distracted looking over at the timer, just listen and you'll know where you're at. You also end up following the rhythm with your attacks. And I gotta say... Doing burst right when the beat drops or kicks up, is soooo satisfying!
Yeah, they hit like a truck leaving lots of annoying stuff on the field. That's why it's so important to get rid of their shields before they start raging - they become much less aggressive after that.
Cool video that shares the same thought process as me :D Just simply focus on what's important. For me, it's always been: 1. Check elements for each chamber 2. Check which crowd controllers work best Because it's annoying when the element is resisted/immuned. Being able to group enemies together and defeat them without running all over the place is a lifesaver. Floor 12 tho. I don't think pouring all my time and effort to get 150 primos is worth. So I prioritize survivability. Shielder and healers with a powerful enough DPS and matching support is what I always do. Just enough to get 50 primos and reach the end. I've completed all 36 stars before and that's good enough for me ^^ I like to chill now.
We must have vastly different definitions of the word "lazy" lol to me this all seems incredibly complex and daunting to have to work through each floor and all of the details. :)
god this video is amazing, going super in depth about abyss and stuff was awesome. I didn't even know human enemies had a physical res and I'm ar57??? I should probably stop bringing Eula into those floors lol
As a general rule of thumb almost every enemy has a baseline 10% resistance to all elements and a 10% resistance to physical damage. Elemental enemies typically have increased resistance to their corresponding element and all ruin enemies have increased physical resistance.
Indeed it seems your idea of Lazy and F2P is so far strayed from mine that I may as well be never able to do this. Still, I will watch any of these that you might put out because your editing and work put into them is awesome and I still learn something!
This is just some tips to help with abyss. Geo teams do well pretty much every abyss. Mihoyo barely puts any geo resistant mobs in abyss, and with the naturally defensive nature of geo, dying to enemies isn’t a problem too. Granted, my geo team consists of three five stars (Itto, zhongli and albedo) so I’d understand why it’s not more used, but if you do have any of these characters, give this team a try. Also with the release of dendro, get a hyperbloom team. For how little investment these teams require, they are insanely strong. And most of these teams don’t even require five stars. You only need one electro, one hydro and one dendro, the last slot is usually cc but it can be anything. And of course, I can’t go through this without mentioning national team and its variants. Similar to hyperbloom, it doesn’t need that much investment. You only need to put investment in Xiangling. You can invest in other characters to make the team stronger of course, but Xiangling is really all you need. And at the end of the day, trust me, while artifacts and weapons and all those stuff are important, without proper strategy, it’s all going to be for nothing. Make sure to check the enemy lineup, take what you need(healer, cc, etc) and play around the enemy ai.
Geo team is indeed strong, but proper Geo team would be something like Itto, Zhongli, Albedo and C4 Gorou (C4 for healing). It is a powerful one, but it's just a lot to ask. There's a lot of other great options when it comes to team compositions and the point is to realize which ones you can make depending on your current situation (characters, weapons, etc). But I absolutely agree: if you are not completely OP, proper strategy is the best way to overcome pretty much any fight.
Floor 9 and 10, I only use 1 character and floor 11, Use 2 characters and floor 12 is where you bring the big guns for more difficulty. But if I'm lazy, I just bring venti first chamber and kazuha second chamber throughout every floor
13:24 Since the knights gain their buffs by sacrificing some of their hp, you can spice up your run by bringing a strong shield and making them do some of the work for you :D Tho you need Hydro to undo the shields that the Pyro guy creates, and take out the Hydro guys first since they do AoE heal but cannot heal themselves.
They sacrifice % of their current HP and their effects are quite strong. For example, Hydro guy gives 15% of *current* HP to heal everyone around for 10% of their *max* HP. Plus bringing Hydro for Pyro shields means less damage to Hydro guys... In the end, it's not really worth it unless you just want to do it for fun, of course :) Oh, and they do heal themselves as well
Floor 12 kit recommendation: 1st half: cc, electro, bow, healer, a team that excels at aoe Not recommended: shielder, a team that **strictly** is aoe team 2nd half: ranged, dendro (for easier 12-1) or cryo (for easier 12-3), excels at single target, shielder/healer or both Not recommended: electro
Because of my poor artifact stats and few lvl90 characters, I used to only get 33 stars in a few months when I first started doing the Abyss. So until I can reach 36 start in the abyss, I simply keep farming artifacts, leveling up, and pulling some good 5 star characters. Now I can finish the abyss with 36 stars. I probably gonna pull another Raiden for her 2nd Constellation to make the abyss more easier. Lol.
i have a question. i have eula, raiden, and yanfei built. sucrose, xinqiu, and supports (barb and diona) half built. i thought i can just brute force but my char isn't strong enough (esp. for the dendro cube). do you have any sugestions?
Just a little info about the Abyss mage and Herald hydro shield. Dendro also can easily drain their shields and since most dendro unit revolve around em you can pop them and wait till it explode unless you have high em electro or pyro unit for a quick finish. Since you are since launch player too, remember when abyss 1.6 were rather the easiest one as long you have well built Anemo unit in your team?
For floor 9-10 I can just be lazy, floor 11 I need to do some thinking, floor 12, I really need to brainstorm, grind, suffer to be aboe to get all stars.
I have 2nd acct which is f2p acct, played since 1.0 but stopped after 1.1 got released, then I start play again after 1.4 and got my 1st 36* spiral abyss during patch 2.6 probably if I remember correctly. I think most of f2p acct can reach 36* if they play long enough at least 1 years if you have average luck in pulling character/rolling artifact. My go to team for spiral abyss was national team & Ayaka freeze team which is only have 3 five star character (Ayaka, Kazuha,Mona) & 2 five star weapon (jade cutter for Ayaka & aquila favonia for my Bennett), other characters only using 4* & 3* weapon. TBH I don't really pay attention for floor/chamber buff and don't even take advantage form that, most of time I just unga bunga without optimized team rotation.
I just got back into the game, stopped playing after the 2nd lunar event and I come back and... I can't brute force floor 12 Spiral Abyss anymore, I have every 5* anemo and geo character- those are also the only 5*s I have... (aside from Yoimiya and Nahida) and they are also the only characters I have the most invested in... I have shot myself in the foot, but this'll help, many thanks
I dont even know those aura things under abyss mages. I don't even know the resistances of enemies like fungi and samachurls. I DON'T EVEN KNOW THAT OVERLOADED CAN BREAK ROCKS FASTER!
As a more veteran player I legit never bother with blessing, it just takes time to farm enough stuff to increase ur dmg and 36 star it consistently (been 36 staring abyss since 2.6, started late lol) tho I wish I saw tips when I was lower ar cause I was not sure what I was doing until like ar 48
A lot of youtubers just go "this is easy, just get good" while not knowing they implement a lot of tips and tricks you mention in this video. Fantastic video, informative and definitely something I will try to take into account as I try to build 2 teams that can take care of everything. Any tips for those 2 teams, btw? I'm thinking Nahida, Raiden and Xingqiu with either Zhongli or Barbara. Then Kazuha, Ganyu, Bennett and something else. Any ideas?
your explanations are great, short and easy to understand. Actually since my teams are both focused on dendro reactions i didn't had trouble in the previous abyss. But the one now? I'm not sure how to use the bonuses and barely touched anything there X'D would be great if you'd made a video (maybe shorter, since you explained most of the enemy weaknesses here?) about it as well! I would deifinietly watch that
Thank you! I am working on the current rotation. I'm done with testing and clearing, so it will take just a couple more days to gather and edit it all together :)
I think a Tiny bit more elaboration on the stats of the characters would be nice as we don't know what FtP or Whale people deem to be a good baseline for what they actually have the characters at before they consider them worth it. From what I gather you lvl90 them, crown a few with high talents 9 or above, Crit over 40/100.
I only got 35 stars because I had only an hour to finish the final 2 stars but couldn't really get any teams together that were powerful enough this time, I was always 1 minute late regardless of how fast I tried to beat the 12 3 2. My Itto wasn't built to even the level of your supports even though he was main damage on the second side, lvl80 8/8/8 72/96 Crit 112%ER, lvl90 Serpent Spine R5. The first half was Raiden so it's always fast but second half is always a struggle.
Thanks for the informative video! Really loved it. I'm having a difficult time finishing 12-3. Is it possible for you to make teams for me based on the characters I have if I send you a screen shot of them? Thanks!
Thank you! There's not much to add to what I said in the video regarding teams. The rest is up to you to decide based on your preferred characters and playstyles. Just bring your best elemental damage team that includes an archer for the first half and Freeze team for the second. It should be your best bet.
jeez and im still stuck on floor 10 chamber 3 lol I literally cant with the first half, made me rage so much Thank you for the video guide, might try again later!
I'm f2p and I've beaten it forcefully. As in I was pushed through the limits to get 36 stars. All of my clears in floor 12 were just 2 seconds to 1 second before clocking out at 3 star mark. I also did it by staggering my teams per chamber. Basically I cannot do it with the same teams from chamber 1 to 3, so I went back to chamber 1 that I have cleared with 3 stars and beat it with different teams, a new set of teams that can beat the chamber 2 with 3 stars and for chamber 3, I went back again with different set of teams, again a team that can clear the chamber 3 with 3 stars. It's so fucking hard but getting all the stars are worth the hardship even the rewards are not that great. The drive and hardship trumps those rewards.
i just put venti on my first team with freeze and pyro second team was scara and all the supports worked very well for a f2p build especially when the only goof dps i have is venti and scara lol
i pulled for yoimiya on her rerun specifically to deal with thunder manifestations on floors 11 and 12 of abyss, and i've still been struggling to 36 star; i completely gave up the last 2 cycles and settled for 33 because of the insane time constraint on the first chamber (and didn't even attempt full stars on the second and third, no point if i can't get the first). completely slipped my mind that tighnari would get constant free aggravates, i'm gonna try him and see how that goes, but i think i really need to just improve my raiden team to clear the first half faster.
in late game, f2p really doesn't mean much, cause half of your dmg comes from god-tier artifacts, which everyone can spend half a year farming for, even 4-star teams can beat the spiral abyss. The other half of your dmg comes from your skill, in moving the characters in the field, dodging, rotations and crowd control. With both god-tier artifacts and god-tier skills, you can solo the abyss with a 4-star dps and takes 0 dmg
Yep. I agree. And that's why I was always skeptical about people clearing Abyss with "F2P teams" just by using only 4-star characters. I am too lazy to grind for perfect artifacts and I believe that even F2P will have some 5-star characters by the time they get to clearing Abyss, so I focus on right team compositions and strategy instead to make it easier using just decently built characters.
I'm stuck at Floor 12 - 1. Not able to get 3 stars once. I'm AR 52 playing over a year and still I don't have a single Cryo character built. Now I have to spend next few months farming cryo artifacts.
i usually struggle with floor12 so i didn't do it this time to skip the mental break down but it turns out i have the perfect teams for it btw i'm f2p but i use one of the most expensive teams which is xiao jean albedo zhong li and my wierd luck got me 3 jade spears one after the other and i have hu tao , yelan , kazuha and ganyu i have yae miko but we won't talk about her
I may not be f2p but I only use male characters (everyone c0 besides 4 stars and kazuha who is c1) as they are my only built characters and I just go to abyss and bonk everything with brute force and no strategy. Works fine
And what DO you have? In my videos I focus on what you can do with what you have. Teams I show are just for reference, so you don't need to copy them - use the ideas I explain
Yea this last 2 abyss reminds me why Inazuma mobs is just evil design... They're not difficult to fight, they're just huge time waster to screw you during time attack. Not to mention combining dogs and electro bat is just pure evil given their tendency to waste your time and burst. I can easily 3 stars abyss 12-2, and 12-3 but 12-1 took me like 10 retry and I did it later with super optimized team just for that fight.
when it comes to removing shields for abyss mages spesificly hydro mages yes dendro is best but second best is actually electro not cryo. cryo is only good at locking them down but won't actually do a whole lot when it comes to taking the shield down, electro however will take the shield down pretty quickly and damage any enemies around the abyss mage.
You are wrong about that. Electro might take less applications because of Electro-Charged ticks and it also can deal damage to nearby enemies, but Cryo still does more damage when it comes to dealing with Hydro shields and entities. For example, to remove shield of Hydro Abyss Mage you need 6 units of Dendro, 12 units of Cryo or 30 ticks of Electro-Charged (~15 units of Electro)
The problem is my teams, I’ve been playing for like seven months and I am ar55 with only two five star characters, and not a lot of characters that can be used as main dps’ My first team is fine (ganyu, diona, xiangling, Bennett) but my second team just struggles a lot. I’ve saved up for raiden and I have guaranteed and a full build ready, I hope that I can atleast get close to finishing floor 11

Yeah, it would be really nice to have in-game way to get more detailed info. But don't worry, I've spent many hours on Wiki, so you don't have to :D
Alternative solution, fuck around and find out.
i actually didn't know some of the elemental resistances/weaknesses and shield chipping mechanics of the bosses on floor 12, thank you so much!
7:01 Instead of going for the Lawachurl, we can also go to the abyss mage, because the Lawachurl will jump to us anyway :D
While waiting for the Lawachurl to jump, just use the timed elemental burst for i-framing the abyss mage electro ring (?) and also to negate the damage from Lawachurl's jump.
That might work as well. I start with Lawachurl, because their shields are stronger than ones of Abyss Mages and take more time to break
Mihoyo should remove , too many players (including me) are abusing that thus making the game a lot easier. You heard a lot about those sweaty tryhards complaining about the game is too easy or Spiral Abyss is too easy. But why we never hear them shout about removing ? They should start doing that.
@@michaelg4158 then how are we supposed to dodge attacks 💀
@@michaelg4158 yo pass me whatever stuff you're on
@@tingybong by completely sprint out of the attack area.
At 11:21 you show 942.820 hp but abyss has diffrent hp scalings than open world. So you need to multiply that number with 2.5 for floor 12.
Oh right! I completely forgot about that. Thanks!
So it's even worse :D
Wait the abyss enemies have 2.5x more hp???? No wonder I felt like I was doing little damage despite seeing big numbers.
@@tabithal2977 Yep, but abyss card buffs are also decently strong usually if you get lucky. It's not 2.5x harder, maybe like 1.5x
That's why the Mirror Maiden was feeling tankier than ever 😓
super informative, thank you , im sure this would help out a lot of people
This video is AWESOME!
Yet since don't have good weapons and artifacts ( especially artifacts!)
Abyss is a nightmare.
( That's just main stat, don't even talk about sub-stat)
It feels like using lockbox 117 times to finally get a decent artifact! ( Decent is correct main stat and 2 correct sub stat!)
I was always wondering why my yoimiya using R1 rust have so much time killing stuff when I see people doing exploration with her doing 10k at first hit and ends with 40k last hit. My yoimiya only doing 1k at first hit...
For undergeared players like me, we really need these strategy video to help us clear the floor. Forget about stars for the time being!
The healing bonus actually hella helps, especially if you fail to have an effective healer on that team.(Like me). Plus my characters have high ER.
And just *dodge* not *running away*
Otherwise you will trigger its ranged attack.
TF will indeed teleport but won't be far away for you to chase to prevent it from using ranged attack (long spin / electro cage)
@@zadokutah2315 ER... I just stand there as ZhongLi. I try to use his shield. If shield not ready, I just stand there under it like an idiot...
@@JeSt4m thanks, so it is quite random. I was wondering what I am doing wrong when video show it not TP away but it almost always does for me.
This NEEDS to happen for every future spiral abyys 🤣🤣
I didn't know any of the enemy resistances and this video makes me see that it'll be a lot easier if I did
Usually I just brute force my way through floors 9, 10 and 11, but 12 is usually too hard to do that with, I'll try these teams and hope for the best!
Thank you so much bro this helped me so much cuz I'm a returner after over 7 months of non play and was trying to find some good help on abyss with characters that i own. Definitely helped
Subscribed :)
Loving how freeze teams counters EVERYTHING and im looking forwars to get Ayaka
Woahh thank YOU! This really helpful after watching your video and using your recommended team comp i am finally able to clear the abyss and 36 full stars for the first time!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 please do one for the next spiral abyss 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🔥🔥⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Oh, congrats! Since so many people find it helpful, I'll definitely keep doing those ^^
Sat through this whole video even though I haven't had to think about 36 starring abyss for over a year now...ngl I kinda miss it, the team drafting process and taking all these factors into consideration. I wish they would make a more difficult version (no rewards necessary but it'd be nice lmao) for endgame players, just to test our damage ceiling if nothing else.
The fundamentals of the strengths and weaknesses of each abyss floor is a great showcase to do
Well, I dont use freeze teams but group up/knock down teams.
So it works basically the same.
Theyre all clumbed up and cant hit me.
Tnx for this helpful guide I learn a lot and I am confident now that I can clear floor 12 as 3 months player and f2p with no 36 stars and new subs.
This is one of the best videos I´ve seen on the topic of Abyss.
I hated every single chamber in this one
From CORROSION to RUNNING AROUND
From getting dragged by LINE BREAKERS to ONE SHOT FROM CRYO LAWACHURLS
From needing ARCHER to THAT STUPID GEO FATUI THAT WON`T GROUP UP WITH THE EREMITE
Me seeing that none of my characters are level 80: Hmm interesting
But seriously this was a really fun and informative video, keep up the good work
freemos are always great, just like your channel!
This was super helpful. Thank you 🙏
That lawachurls with their icetrap spamming it like crazy and oneshot every Single Team member in a few seconds -.-
Yeah, they hit like a truck leaving lots of annoying stuff on the field. That's why it's so important to get rid of their shields before they start raging - they become much less aggressive after that.
Cool video that shares the same thought process as me :D Just simply focus on what's important.
For me, it's always been:
1. Check elements for each chamber
2. Check which crowd controllers work best
Because it's annoying when the element is resisted/immuned.
Excellent guide!
We must have vastly different definitions of the word "lazy" lol to me this all seems incredibly complex and daunting to have to work through each floor and all of the details. :)
Oh my god, I needed this video so much.
god this video is amazing, going super in depth about abyss and stuff was awesome. I didn't even know human enemies had a physical res and I'm ar57??? I should probably stop bringing Eula into those floors lol
No-no. Human enemies have *reduced* (-20%) Physical RES, so Eula actually works better against them
@@2Lazy2BAwesome OH I misunderstood then 😭😭 thank you for clearing that up
As a general rule of thumb almost every enemy has a baseline 10% resistance to all elements and a 10% resistance to physical damage. Elemental enemies typically have increased resistance to their corresponding element and all ruin enemies have increased physical resistance.
Welp i was wrong.
Didn't think this would teach me something i didn't know
Thank you 👍
thank you so much for the tips, I'm going to go try it
Awesome video, great analysis
Best tip for abyss: national team is a must, doesnt matter the variation. My first clear was on 1.1 and full star 1.2
it isnt a must
its just easy to use for the flexible 4th spot and because of full 4 stars
You have gained a subscriber. You are the new Enviosity!
it's so nice to see a f2p helping with abyss, thank you for that video
@@2Lazy2BAwesome yeah, I guess that’s true, but I had to get at least one itto mention in here😂
Floor 9 and 10, I only use 1 character and floor 11, Use 2 characters and floor 12 is where you bring the big guns for more difficulty.
In the end, it's not really worth it unless you just want to do it for fun, of course :)
Oh, and they do heal themselves as well
Floor 12 kit recommendation:
1st half: cc, electro, bow, healer, a team that excels at aoe
Not recommended: shielder, a team that **strictly** is aoe team
2nd half: ranged, dendro (for easier 12-1) or cryo (for easier 12-3), excels at single target, shielder/healer or both
Not recommended: electro
Oh wow I didn't know Overload could destroy ores
Because of my poor artifact stats and few lvl90 characters, I used to only get 33 stars in a few months when I first started doing the Abyss. So until I can reach 36 start in the abyss, I simply keep farming artifacts, leveling up, and pulling some good 5 star characters. Now I can finish the abyss with 36 stars. I probably gonna pull another Raiden for her 2nd Constellation to make the abyss more easier. Lol.
I guess my problem is I need everything explained to me in Razor speak.
my keqing aggravate team need all this healing, Abyss without a healer is the life that I choose
i lovr your teams! so unique
i have a question. i have eula, raiden, and yanfei built. sucrose, xinqiu, and supports (barb and diona) half built. i thought i can just brute force but my char isn't strong enough (esp. for the dendro cube). do you have any sugestions?
Raiden and Yanfei should do with Dendro Cube nicely. Just add Xingqiu for more damage and Collei (of any lvl) for revival phase and you'll be fine
@@2Lazy2BAwesome thank you so much! you are the genshin player i aspire to be. i'm sick of seeing either bennet or kazuha in teams haha
Respect for the insane amount of work it required to make this video as a lazy person ❤
Just a little info about the Abyss mage and Herald hydro shield. Dendro also can easily drain their shields and since most dendro unit revolve around em you can pop them and wait till it explode unless you have high em electro or pyro unit for a quick finish.
Since you are since launch player too, remember when abyss 1.6 were rather the easiest one as long you have well built Anemo unit in your team?
ar60 and lazy to do abyss since i cant do 36* this is helpful. TY!
Great video. Keep this kinda content coming!
great Guide! subscribed! :D thanks!
Bro where were when we all needed you
i definetly did not need this video as i can 36 star easily with any character but i watched this video because of your voice
I don’t know why but I like watching these kind videos even though I can 36 star abyss relatively easy😂
For floor 9-10 I can just be lazy, floor 11 I need to do some thinking, floor 12, I really need to brainstorm, grind, suffer to be aboe to get all stars.
Wtf im a veteran player and did not know that not all hydro mages have all skills nor that you can see the difference between them 🤯
I have 2nd acct which is f2p acct, played since 1.0 but stopped after 1.1 got released, then I start play again after 1.4 and got my 1st 36* spiral abyss during patch 2.6 probably if I remember correctly.
I did Everything easily with childe international at 1st half and hutao, xinqui, mona and zhongli on 2nd half, easy primos
Nice video, its very helpfull for the abyss 12
I think that the biggest tip I got from this was to not worry about using the same team on the entire floor.
I dont even know those aura things under abyss mages. I don't even know the resistances of enemies like fungi and samachurls. I DON'T EVEN KNOW THAT OVERLOADED CAN BREAK ROCKS FASTER!
I love how this guy’s solution to everything but bosses are just “Freeze team”
@@2Lazy2BAwesome that's so cool! good luck! i'll be waiting c:
I have no problem beating the abyss but I still watched this video, and its really really well made! Great content my guy, keep going!!
It should be your best bet.
jeez and im still stuck on floor 10 chamber 3 lol
I literally cant with the first half, made me rage so much
Thank you for the video guide, might try again later!
ty, getting into this game is hard in the new era where all content has bennet and i dont have any way to get him
I'm f2p and I've beaten it forcefully.
0:00
**instant music based trauma**
Edit: ur Kazuha is thick.
i pulled for yoimiya on her rerun specifically to deal with thunder manifestations on floors 11 and 12 of abyss, and i've still been struggling to 36 star; i completely gave up the last 2 cycles and settled for 33 because of the insane time constraint on the first chamber (and didn't even attempt full stars on the second and third, no point if i can't get the first). completely slipped my mind that tighnari would get constant free aggravates, i'm gonna try him and see how that goes, but i think i really need to just improve my raiden team to clear the first half faster.
in late game, f2p really doesn't mean much, cause half of your dmg comes from god-tier artifacts, which everyone can spend half a year farming for, even 4-star teams can beat the spiral abyss.
I'm ar 60 and was just gonna leave the 36 stars this abyss because those 8 knights are rage inducing
7:06
Hidden YEET
I have been farming for so long, these days even floor 11 is easy af for me. Floor 12 is the only challenge for me.
Ik this is previous abyss but on 12-1-2 a burgeon c4 yanfei works wonders
You deserve more subs
I used itto and zhong shield against the shadow husks and killed them before any could use a shield :^)
I usually brute force my way from floor 9 to 11 and then get stuck on 12 cause skill issues xD
I'm stuck at Floor 12 - 1. Not able to get 3 stars once. I'm AR 52 playing over a year and still I don't have a single Cryo character built. Now I have to spend next few months farming cryo artifacts.
me: reads the titel, Damn i feel called out like frfr
i usually struggle with floor12 so i didn't do it this time to skip the mental break down but it turns out i have the perfect teams for it
btw i'm f2p but i use one of the most expensive teams which is xiao jean albedo zhong li and my wierd luck got me 3 jade spears one after the other and i have hu tao , yelan , kazuha and ganyu i have yae miko but we won't talk about her
I may not be f2p but I only use male characters (everyone c0 besides 4 stars and kazuha who is c1) as they are my only built characters and I just go to abyss and bonk everything with brute force and no strategy.
Works fine
i suck at this area, i cannot get past 10-3. Everything i see is always using characters i do not have.
And what DO you have?
In my videos I focus on what you can do with what you have. Teams I show are just for reference, so you don't need to copy them - use the ideas I explain
I used to do this, I try to get 3 ★ on a chamber and redo the others
For example, to remove shield of Hydro Abyss Mage you need 6 units of Dendro, 12 units of Cryo or 30 ticks of Electro-Charged (~15 units of Electro)
i always focus first on the last Floors so i don't have to do it all over again just cuz i missed one star
The problem is my teams, I’ve been playing for like seven months and I am ar55 with only two five star characters, and not a lot of characters that can be used as main dps’
My first team is fine (ganyu, diona, xiangling, Bennett) but my second team just struggles a lot. I’ve saved up for raiden and I have guaranteed and a full build ready, I hope that I can atleast get close to finishing floor 11
wahahaha, just like me, satisfied only by pulling and collecting char, lazy to farm, not building them into meta XD
