I must admit I like it something I didn't like about synchro decks was how long combos took centurion flipped that on it's head I saw this deck so much the last few seasons ig you could say the community inspired me to try it again and I enjoy it a lot more. Im really eager to try it with the new support and the white woods
I recommend trying a small stardust package. 3 Stardust Synchron. 1 Coverging Wills Dragon. 1 Arrive in light. This package along with the Bystials gives u access to Ruddy Rose Dragon into Shooting Star Majestic Dragon. Combo line is like this. Send Lubellion. Search any Lv 6 Bystial. Banish Lubellion to SS the Bystial. NS Stardust Synchron. Search for Arrive In Light. Activate Arrive In Light to place Converging Wills on top of deck. Synchron Summon into either Ruddy Rose Dragon or Bystial Dispater. Arrive in light activates to draw Converging wills Dragon. Converging Wills Dragon will summon its self. Summon Shooting Star Majestic Dragon using Converging Wills Dragon with either level 10 Dragon. U can go into this line while doing ur normal Centurion plays if you have Stardust Synchron in hand or grave.
I played this package last season. At this point u might as well add Brotaur, which is way less of a brick than Wills, and have seals and the Lvl11 synchro that needs wills. You pivot into bystials way more consistent and u have a better end board.
I don't even have the SS cards but I'm really enjoying Centurion so I'd be down for a deck profile on that, maybe with some live gameplay? Decided to climb this month using Centurion, it's my first time playing it. Currently in D2. I'm running 44 cards including the Gamma Package and Synchro Rumble and Candle as another search target/extended for Bonfire. Still have 14 starters and 14 handtraps. ED I'm running Chaos Archfiend - I think it can be insanely good in the right situation. Two days ago I had a game against SEFK where they used Maxx C and Nib on turn 1 and I was still able to win that game, primarily because of unaffected Chaos Angel and Archfiend cooking them. Like you, I'm also running Sifr, and Dis Pater, and Ty-phon. I'm kinda thinking of dropping Ty-phon and Dis Pater though because I've literally never made them and I think a 2nd Blazar and Legatia might be really nice. But also with the banlist freeing Duiswurm maybe Dis Pater would be more useful soon. Also with the banlist probably means DLink will be back, which means going against more Bystials and thus maybe a 2nd Auxila would be better than 2nd Legatia idk yet.
As a returning player from the 5D's era, Centur-Ion has been such a BLAST to play. Easy yet effective combos and gameplan to ease me into my reintegration phase. Plus they just happen to be a synchro archetype (and the free Swordsoul deck) so they get extra nostalgia points.
Yea I think its a great deck for returning players. The combos are not too long winded, the deck is flexible and the grind game is solid enough once youre established.
Centur-Ion is such a dope deck. Looking forward to the future support it's gonna get. MⱯLICE and White Forest Runick are cool too. Lots of good stuff coming to master duel sooner or later.
There’s some nice plays with packbit if you run Emeth VI. Since Emeth can push any of your center-ions in to the back row as continuous traps, you can push legatia in the back row then pack but can bring it back out to proc the draw/pop once you have packbit in the back row. It’s also crazy with bonds as you can use bonds to put legatia or auxila in the back row and summon them at any time to proc their effect, since they both activate on special summon, not on synchro summon. It’s an insane grind game tool for the deck.
@@MasterDuelCentral it also makes Legatia turn one just for the draw, that much better. If you already have everything you can just draw a card with Legatia and draw another card and pop a card on your opponents turn.
I made a different variation of centur-ion and got 16 straight wins with it Naturia Horus Centur-Ion If the naturia stuff gets negated, you can go into horus, if that gets negated you go into centur-ion stuff Then the field spell allows you to pop off on the opp's turn instead and have followup back on your turn from there Truly an insane deck, plus people REALLY hate seeing sarc go through 😂
This is a weird tech i've been using, there's so many good field spell decks around and this deck banishes quite frequently so "The Abyss Dragon Swordsoul" has won me a few games, plus its also a free level 8 extender if you need one
@@motoharumotoharu Nah well I dont wanna run more cards and I like the utility of all the bystials I use. (like Magnamhut helps grind game, Saronir sets up Lubellion and druiswurm is my go to search target off of either magnam or seals)
I make ip instead of seals. although ur weaker to imperm sp provides that one more disruption that also is recursive so even if they wipe your field you still got sp and blazer coming back
I've always used red supernova even when calamity was legal. Because I got the free royal from an anniversary event and I didn't wanna spend the 30 UR on calamity 😂
I have played against centurion alot on ladder and every time I draw the best hand ever and they either brick or I just have the right card to stop their play, but then I lose to some random rogue deck or worse
You can't ogre Centurion's field spell if you control a Centurion monster, you controlled Primera when you used the effect to place from deck, so the opponent didn't waste Ogre on that and used it for Trudea instead.
I remember he said dkayed calls decks potentially top tier and it annoys him, but calling a deck broken? Isn't it the same thing? Maybe I'm missing something
Also being a synchro deck add synchro zone as it protects your board ,csuse if you board is interrupted you are stunt a turn and also it has a second effect to synchro on opponents turn and its gets protection from auxila
I don't think it's underrated, it's just really expensive. I couldn't pull a single UR card for them but got lots of Yubel. I'll craft it in the future for sure though.
Why dosent noone run crimson blader lvl 8 synchro that upon destroy monster your opp cannot normal or special summon monsters over lvl 5 next turn, also has 2800 att
Ashkaan is better than packbit and synergises with the bystial cards. One of the archetype bosses should be run at 2, I play 2 aux for now, for th extra search since legatia is better to revive with the trap.
@@robertoarias7796 Packbit doest have any synergy with bystials to begin with. Askaan turns on dis pater negate. If you banish a Light or Dark monster u can spin it back with regain.
I need someone to explain to me how Centurion is able to climb. The Deck has a trap and a Blazar, how is that enough? But even so, I still see it winning
It plays through a few hand traps, which most decks are opening 2-3 of these days. It also doesn’t just have Blazar depending how you play. Bystials have their own field control style, which can be utilised well enough, Cards like Hop Ear Squadron let you summon into a ten or a 6 with any of your extra materials you can bring.
