no, not an anime. they're konami, they used to make Suikoden and stuff. make a JRPG based off the albaz story. it almost feels like they were taunting us with the world legacy and albaz cards, that they had the scenario and character designs (and honestly, probably some of the mechanics) for a JRPG all planned out but just made it into some yugioh cards instead
This is why Yu-Gi-Oh cards are so unique. There is a story behind the art and it's not just put on the cards to make it pretty. Very interesting and fun to listen to how they fit together even if the cards are not directly related in actual matches. It is just so difficult to get into the game now after all the changes that have occurred over the years and how hard it is to make synergies with the available cards. But it is still fun to see how pros play the game and see how combos actually work.
The "King" from Imperial Order is actually an Emperor, which technically speaking yeah means he is a higher ranking Kind. Thats why the card is called "Imperial" Order

I love the World Legacy so much, so I gotta mention it, the Demiurgy was a vessel in giving godhood, Lee had tried so hard to achieve that, yet Auram had become the successor through Blue Sky, so when Auram desperately needed to save the world, the Demiurgy and himself merged to become Avida, Rebuilder of Worlds. Man, I really would love to see these cards get their own animated series, they got about 7 differently decks involved in one big story, haven't gotten anything this amazing since Despia

I believe that return from the different dimension’s effect to re banish the special summoned monsters refers to how it’s possible that those monsters’ bodies can no longer exist in any other dimension but the one they was banished to because they existed in that dimension for far too long.
There's just something comedic and ironic that Konami made lore out of cards that are on the banlist. With Sangan basically being the audience surrogate meeting all these banlist cards.
