You know it is quiet refreshing to see an intellectual tell the truth. Cannot be beat.

I am in complete agreement with Milton Friedman (which includes his ringing endorsement of Ludwig von Mises). But if one man can be right about absolutely everything he discussed and wrote, what possibly explains socialism as a phenomenon? What could prevent anyone from immediately being convinced by his arguments and accepting those as the optimal way for humankind to proceed? If all logic, rational argument and empirical evidence is 100% supportive of Milton Friedman's work, what possesses those who seek to misrepresent and malign him (and similarly all those who are so easily persuaded)? Unfortunately, economics doesn't have the answer and this is why voices such as DiLorenzo find themselves effectively howling at the moon!

Santa Monica in the 1950s and 60s was pretty conservative with a GOP edge in registration. Those days are long gone...maybe thanks to these Frankfurt school fiends?

A great talk as usual from DiLorenzon, and great references for the inquisitive to look further into.

This stuff is junk. It's a lot of name calling and name dropping without much philosophical reasoning. Who funds this guy?

You've obviously been brainwashed by neo-marxists... This guy isn't funded by anyone unlike so many social Democrat scumbags.

I’m glad u said it. It’s good to hear arguments for and against things. It’s better to see the good points and bad in both sides. It’s best to find a transcendent solution that isn’t an eternal battle of the two sides but is able to take the best of both worlds and work towards something greater. We seem addicted to conflict. 😢

He quoted the communist manifesto, he gave real life examples, he gives plenty of reasoning. Didn’t pick up on any name calling.
