Hi Matt, thanks for this video. I had a mobile offer to me for free. This person just wants it off his land and giving me the title. What's the best way to handle this scenario. What should put on bill of sale if it was free? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
@@peacefin9503 where is the home located? In Arizona?
If he is offering the home for free… I would start by trying to get the vin #. If you can get the vin #, you should be able to verify at the DMV if they are the legal owner. If they are the legal owner and they have a clean title… it is as simple as meeting them at the DMV & transferring ownership into your name! If they are not on the title, then you might have to go through the bonded title process

This is very helpful info… So just to confirm, before paying a seller, I’d get the Vin #, head to the DMV for them to process that VIN# for any liens etc, then I’d pay the seller, get the title signed by the owner and head to the DMV for the transfer? Kind regards!
The main thing is verifying that you are purchasing the correct mobile home from the legal owner. If this is your first mobile home, I would recommend doing the title transfer in person at the DMV or going through escrow.
This video was very helpful to me but how can I contac to you because my father and my sister bought a mobilehome but my father passed away on 2018 and my sister mentally not well so we've in California

? What if you only want to change ownership to some one else. For example father to a son.
If there is any liens or loans out on a title wouldn’t it say whoever has a lien on it and the owner wouldn’t have a physical copy until lien is payed or loan correct I’m in CO
Can I change a title with a copy? It has three names on it with “or” between the names. I just want to put it in my name.
The DMV will not accept a copy. You should be able to process the change by going to the DMV or a 3rd party.
