Yeah, DST has kinda turned more into Terraria with tedious routine. After all, co-op is almost bloody impossible to make creepy, so it's the right move for Klei. But solo game is still very well unsettling, and we can always play it instead. But i have to admit, i would like Don't Starve to keep going in that horror direction, despite the fact that it doesn't work in multiplayer.
Sometimes,before I fall asleep,I wonder how would it be to be teleported in another world,a world like don't starve without any human around but with a chance of survival. To think that all my family,friends,acquaintances,places,pets,all of them would be gone forever but not lost while I live to survive,alone...To sit at a fire pit and think about them while the dark,quiet forest surrounds me. Thinking about this while listening to this is amazingly creepy but at the same time is an amazing thought.

Their Not „Players“ , because they are not the ones that dreaming , Their the NPCs , If you see it in a gamer‘s way , Just following the script . Well You could dream about A world where you must survive and try to not starve , just remember : 1. You‘ll be killed instantly by the Things that wale you up ( loud noises , your mama ) 2. Mostly in dreams , you die ( sad ) for any reason , including random Events. 3. Don‘t trust toilets in ur dreams.
That happened to me once. My friend was dead and I needed to become sane. I kept collecting caps and cooking them with the torch+ mod. Then I forgot a step and got insane. Eventually I recovered and my friend revived.
I live in a Region where Hurricanes are very common, specially strong ones like Category 3 to even 5, and when i lived the latest hurricane, i swear to god, when the eye of the hurricane passed by my house, i would hear something like this, i was, feeling like fucking Wilson, getting my sanity drained overwhelmingly quickly, in the dark, in the cold, while the wind does everything it can to try to kill me.

I really freak out when i hear this...it just makes me get waaay chilled that i even drop HOT tears and struggle to keep my eye open..theres just that intense feeling of mocking,loss of hope and fear but you can't react to it in any way..even my back chills
this ambience ensures that not only am i insane ingame but in real life too, literally this shit creeps me out and makes me paranoid while playing and hearing it just now just gave me severe ptsd, klie did a good job
Weird question but does anyone know what the Hz frequency range in this? Whenever I play the game for too long while loosing sanity, it makes me feel literally ill. It doesn't give me a headache more like turns my stomach.
Man, this is why I love this game. There is so many little details that tell you about the story and gameplay that I find something new almost every time I hear about it.
If you see my most common death in the Don't Starve games with the mods probably darkness and Shadow creatures without mods usually mobs that are aggressive to monsters like the Pigman
action: use internet device (Twitter) 10% chance to receive a magic blueprint each use decreases sanity by 5 % of max & being within 3 tiles of the device drains 1 sanity point every 5 seconds
I used to work 6:30 am to 6:30 pm like OOXXXOO one week and XXOOOXX the next week and it'd flip when i'd have to work 3 in a row and i didn't get any sleep the other days this was my song~
