A fracture is a break in the bone, not a clean break of a bone...like if you have a air fracture in metal, it's a crack inside, not a snapped or broken part. That's the best way i can explain...but it's true either way it's broken but you can't call a snapped in half leg a fracture because its a clean break. But yes broken is broken lol fractured isn't fully broke
