Most young fans didn’t realize how good Ben was not only in his wrestling career, but his mma career also, they only remember him from the Jorge KO (with props to Jorge, one of the best knockouts ever in the UFC).
He takes the loss like a man and is actually very intellectuall when it comes to the fight business, I’d love to see him commentate one day, although I know he’s training up and coming young wrestlers trying to help them which is respectable.
I believe Ben is either underrated or overrated in mma. Ben's wins in the Bellator tournament were against less experienced versions of decent fighters and he arguably lost to Hieron. He beat absolute nobodies in ONE and an undersized Aoki. I also don't believe he would beat Masvidal even if the knee did not land. I believe he was a top 5-10 WW at his peak.

He gets shit for his resume. But went straight into the deep end when started mma was in the. Ella your tournament and won the title immediately
He beat Robbie Lawler and lawler slammed him on his head. Lawler is no bum.
Yeah Ben's a great fighter...he got it bad because of that knee from Jorge that would have slept anybody. But Ben's really tough and really durable and is pretty tough to put away in mma. That fight with lawler was something else man.

I've kind of started learning a lot about myself through this podcast. Always been a fan of Quentin but getting to know him. Anyway, I'm a big dude. Pretty tough. I'm also really nice guy that's always laughing, always humorous. But I also get made fun of a lot. And although I already knew people like me, it's not a big deal. But seeing how much these guys make fun of Quentin. It's really just because he's a good sport and it's fun, which is I think why people talk so much s*** to me. This is a great podcast. I've probably learned more about myself and about other men on this podcast than anywhere else between the guests and rampage
