Ya this is wild. Love all the old stories and love the current ones too. And Jackson being a fighter brings a certain flavor to the conversation you don't get elsewhere. And he's not just a bro, he's hilarious and intelligent.
Probably because they all have respect for Rampage because he’s one of them. I bet MMA fighters are more likely to do a podcast with a fellow fighter, especially a legend like Rampage, rather than talk to just some random journalist.
Rampage brings out a side of fighters that you won’t see anywhere else. I think I figured it out. It’s mutual respect and they are both happy to see each other. You can tell the guests feel like they are heard and they know they won’t get interrupted.
@@CALIFORNIAsGAMERyeah absolutely but i’d say that both podcast are pretty good cuz rampage a og fighter , but let’s not Forget that joe was there since the begining
Everyone is saying it but imma just repeat it, this is one of my favorite new podcasts. A lot of my favorite Joe Rogan podcasts were the MMA episodes, I’ve been looking for more high quality MMA podcasts and these are amazing.
Tyron Woodley is by FAR my favorite guest. The variety of conversation was so natural & illuminating: the laughs, the MMA IQ, the wisdom, the stories & the transparency with your spirituality- I loved & appreciated it all. Happy New Years
Woodley is underrated as a champion. Hes beaten Saffadine, Meina, Daley, Condit, Lawler, Koscheck, Gastelum, Wonderboy, Maia and Till. Thats an insane number of top fighters. Sadly he will only be known for his losses
I feel like he's only underrated to the new booties. Those of us who have been watching from the beginning could not wait for him to get into the UFC and we knew he was going to do some damage. We all thought he would be the best challenge for Johnny Hendrix because it was obvious Hendrix was going to be grabbing that title and nobody really saw Robbie Lawler making a comeback all the way to goat status the way he did. And as far as everyone's starting to hate on him and s*** on him those are just the casual fans who take Dana White's opinion as gold but those same fans would have said Anderson Silva suck after his demian Maia fight or even the Patrick Cote fight
Great show, the questions are awesome and the guys really give their guests time to speak unlike many other podcasts. Cool to hear Rampage bring up Heath Herring too, he was a savage back in the day, would love to see him on the show!!
Tyron has gotten a lot of unnecessary negativity and hate, he’s a G and a genuine good guy. Also tough as nails and once a great fighter. God bless him.
It's crazy. I agree with Woodley on so much shit. The things I happen to disagree with him on him, I whole heartedly disagree. He was still a helluva champion and mma fighter. Gave us some insane knockouts in his time in mma.
I love that Rampage decided to do podcasts. And Tyron never seems to age, btw I still feel like Tyron played into that punch more than what we seen. I feel like Jake paid him off
As for rampage, my favorite podcaster and the most underrated superstar in ufc history. Just as influential as Brock, chuck, Ronda, and Conor.. just didn’t leave in good terms w the ufc.
Agreed. Slampage was part of the golden era ..the people you just named came after when MMA got watered down and centered on one overhyped/overrated fighter to revolve the whole sport around...I can't even watch anymore....I long for the old PrideFC, Strikeforce, affliction, WEC days, and even UFC itself was much better when it had these orgs to compete with...now they trying to compete with the freak show boxer vs MMA model that they helped to create with Conor vs Floyd
1:02:20 lmao Rampages reaction to Tyron not taking responsibility. Bro didn’t win a single round. Tony Fergerson level delulu. Cool to see his real personality shine through here.

We gotta get rashad evans on the show. Rampage and rashad had a hilarious beef and id like to see them talk as grown men. I cant look at the WB frog without thinkin of rashad 😂😂😂 you flamed him on season 10 so many times. That would be a good episode
Woodley looked unbeatable at one point. People forget how dominant he was. Def Hall of Fame status. I like this podcast. Btw I could listen to Woodley breakdown fights all day. He and Cejudo know how to explain strategy well.
Idk about unbeatable champ, all he had was a really good over hand and okay wrestling. He only defended his belt like three times bro . Then he actually got knocked out by pillow hands Colby. Tyron was a good champ but not dominant or a top tier of all time welterweight champ
Colby didn’t knock him out. Woodley injured his rib. He still was losing the fight tho. Pretty spot on with everything else. Although his wresting is better than good. He just got away from it
@@dfields528 yeah he had good wrestling I agree, but he didn't use it so it really doesn't even matter 🤷🏻♂️. He might make my top ten WW of all time but he'd be at the bottom of my list if he did. When Tyron was asked if he threw the fight against Jake Paul or not, he rambled on very quickly and almost over, explained and then change the subject before Rampage had a chance to say anything. I truly believe That fight was set up or at least that knockout and Tyrone probably got some money out of it
Maybe be fumbled over his words out of frustration because his entire body of work was put into question? I really hope for his own sake he didn't take a dive.
