Give this a pass...no listed peer doesn't mean monopoly...the industry can function even without this company as many Pharma companies indulging in research will have their inhouse teams for liaisoning and marketing.

coming to this IPO - imo looking at your video - 1. the USP is they want to use the monopoly but customer base is North America region - this means premium in what ever they develop. 2. Major revenue stake 71% is Digital marketing & Sales funda & they say life science when medical revenue is only 24% .
3 . even on a long run this to me is NOT a good bet for investing also.

How is the last sentence (no listed peers) relevant? if there are unlisted players also. Are they not doing business? Other points are fine.

@@hakim5939 TCS and Infosys are service providers and majorly into IT. Indegene is solely into life sciences and also work into CR, Regulatory and Mfg field as well. Whereas TCS and Infosys are only into the post marketing surveillance field, i.e., Pharmacovigilance.

Hi Rachna Madam, There is one stock named Parle Industries. From past few days it has been continuously marking the upper circuit. I have doubt of chain trading here. Because when we check there is no salers available for this only buyers bids are there. But there are some trades done at specific price. Individual buyers does not have any trades here. At this stage industry doesn’t seem promising if they have good contacts at passing and filling up regulations then that would be a plus but this doesn’t seem to be a future boomer so it’s better to invest elsewhere

Large Companies hv thier own in-house division, why will they outsource these services, where they will lose confidential information to those who will work on such activities. Means only small and medium size Co may prefer to take such specialized services ?
Pharma manufacturers may not spend much of their efforts in building these kind of tech capabilities in house at a large scale, their main focus is on R&D and manufacturing. Like automobile companies depends on tyre manufacturers.
Even engineeers and mba graduates work on life sciences consulting...and it's pretty huge

As its there core competency . If their regulatory environment isn't fulfilled, there is no use of that drug . And making the pharma company totally dependable on Indegene .
As maximum of the spending of pharma is in RnD then what's stopping them to pursue this by themselves? And what is such unique that Indegene do which an established Pharma companies can't do ?

probability to get allotment doesn't decrease if you apply on the 2nd or 3rd day as the lottery system is used which takes into consideration all the applications unbiased.

There isn't much value add done by this company! by no means do they have a monopoly just because there are the only one listed - big companies already spending on r&d might just want to give them a pass any day they dont like their pricing.

Quite disappointed with your analysis. What is the IPO vision? Why do company need public money? As per RHP it says to make debt free of 391cr plus other reasons with no clarity on what are other reasons.
Approx 17% of the balance sheet is invested in Non core investment as per 2022-23 balance sheet that too into mutual funds schemes whose carrying value is about 1688cr.
A company holding investment worth 1688cr in non core and seeking public money. Very strange.
It is a clear case of syphon promoters using public money.
