You are very welcome! I'm glad the video helped you out.
Thank you for your very good video.
Recently, I damaged the micro switch that is in the hot shoe and trying to repair it, I pushed the micro switch further into its slot and the micro switch remained in a closed position which is not not a real problem because I do not have a built-in flash so I use an external flash. However, is it easy to recover this micro switch and repositioned?
In advance thank you for your answer.
Well i still be able to replace the screen if the ink is showing as well?
I'm not sure I'm following your question. What ink are you referring to Nikko?
Thanks for the vid. I couldn't get the screen cover off initially. So I pushed the screwdriver through the screen and pulled the plastic off.
Good fix thanks for the video! But unfortunately I can't find the glass for my type of Canon film camera. Maybe it can be cut from thin plexi? any suggestions?
Thanks for the great video! Bought a severely under-valued 5dm3 (US$1,000!) because of a badly scratched glass cover - fixed it for $3!
Good job Jeremy! And I'm glad the video helped you out.
Thank You!
Are the top LCD window screen protector the same size on the canon's 60d and 80d ?
I don't believe so Larry. I don't know the actual dimensions on the top LCD. But everything I've seen listed for 80D's will work on a 70D, but it will not work on a 60D.
Mine have the lcd broken, so I have to change the entire piece, so you know how can I do that?
I haven't replaced an entire LCD display yet. It does look like it will be slightly involved though, since you will also have to remove part of the flash mechanism before you can get to the LCD display. I will try to get a video made on that procedure in near future. Sorry I can't help you right now though.
@@Thebobfactor so, did you make a video? I have the same problem
@@DMSSS No sorry, I never did make a video on replacing the actual LCD for the 60D.
Robert Hosea the lcd unit underneath of mine is broke how i change it is not actually that broke but you could see like ink coming out
@@Thebobfactor good question, i have the same issue
nice...how much does the replacement glass cost? is it easy to get?
I paid $9.99 on Ebay for the glass. It had free shipping too.. Here's a link to the one that I used in the video:

this item is still on Ebay, does it include the adhesive part as well as the glass?
I got mine on Amazon for $8. It comes with the adhesive.
