I'm in NZ. It has been out for 13 hours here :) Played from 12am until like 4am :) It looks absolutely amazing. I have a 65" TV, and I had to move my chair right up to the screen to appreciate all the detail.

I haven't played a game from 12am to 6am and had work the next day in a very long time. The only thing that stopped me from continuing was my controller needing to charge. Bravo Guerilla team, bravo 👏👏👏
This is how sequels are done. From tiny to big improvements, everything is properly scaled up. They listened to the fans!!!
Guerrilla has to be one of the best lore writers in the gaming industry, the unique worlds they have built in HZD and Killzone are fascinating
Monster Hunter is the best in regards to Worldbuilding. You cannot beat the writers at Capcom in that regard

I'm still in the chain scrape area, but I'm taking my sweet time exploring. They made an actual open world game with no repetition and it's crazy fun! I highly recommend hard/very hard difficulty

I hope one day Easy Allies makes it as an accolade for future games. Their reviews are nothing short but exceptional.
They are the most dull and inconsistent in the business imo. They have all the resources but still can't compete with all the other reviewers out there.

This game (also Part one) runs so smoothly on PS5, I had to enjoy playing the previous version before The Forbiden West :3

happy to report that it runs decently well on ps4! takes up 88 gb but definitely worth it.
one problem with disappearing cliffs in one cutscene, but nothing else that big after about 2 hours.

CDPR look at this. open your eyes and look at this. This is how a game is made. This is how a game that looks so beautiful and can Run smoothly on a last gen platform. This is how you keep fan of your games in awe. Gurella games derseves every bit of praise and accolades they are getting.

@@oddjob007 Cyberpunk 2077 is the pinnacle of messing up an open world game. They are the prime example of rushing out the type of game that needs the most time in the oven, especially when your project is as ambitious as Cyberpunk 2077.
@Daan Abbring they also developed a genre defining game and one which has been argued the game of the decade in TW3. The two scenarios are completely different.
Guerilla are owned and supported by PlayStation and Forbidden West is currently only on PlayStation.
Cyberpunk was developed for all platforms and its early launch was heavily influenced by 3rd party investors/shareholders.
@@oddjob007 agreed tw3 was a genre defining game. That dosent mean they should be forgiven for Royally messing up the launch of Cyberpunk 2022 after hyping it to the Moon. Yes HFW is playstation only. But the point here is to Run the game on older platforms. And now after almost a year they are coming out with a patch for the next gen meaning the game was never meant to Run on older gen platforms it was just a Ruse to make people spend money on the game and then regret it later.
@Disgruntled Employee you have no disagreements from me on your points here, CP was released too early due to 3rd party involvement. My point is that PS Studios are a different kettle of fish as they fund a dev team and let them get on with it, so different scenario.

@@perryeuan2748 They can, but it hasn't really happened in an open world game yet. Forza 5 looks crazy tho (isn't that open world?) and Hellblade two looks amazing too. Looks like you have some proper stuff on your hands now unlike last gen.
@@daanabbring5409 This is an exciting gen for both Microsoft and Sony. We as consumers should just be happy with more choice and more importantly MORE GAMES. Sony is already Killin it, so we should also expect the same from xbox. I am also very optimistic about the games they will put out in the future.
