Swan, forgot to tell you I installed my Fry High End Weather Miner and it is working out really well. Making good money (Even though reduced). I ordered my Weather XM but I am still waiting for it to arrive. It seems to be delayed for some reason until July. I intend to triple mine. Wish I would have gotten in on Weather XM sooner. How is the new WXM token working out in terms of value. Is it on MEXC?
Hi Tom, glad to hear you go your Fry High End Weather Miner up and running! The WeatherXM token is down a little bit since launching last week, but it's still making decent money. Looks like it's available to trade on MEXC, but I haven't tried it yet. Going to do an update video on WeatherXM soon
Whenever I see a project where the guy at the top right from 00:30 is a "consultant" I don't get involved. It usually ends up worse off with turdbird consulting around 🤣
Thanks, great video. The FRY website says you get 215 FRY per day unverified and 647 FRY per day verified. Why are you getting only 161 FRY ? Just working out if its worth it. Thanks
Yes it is a little disappointing with the delays with WXM having been in this project since 2022. I have both the original weather station and the helium weather station set up at 2 different locations. I just ordered a Fry weather station and of course I used your discount code. Thanks for the video. Well done as always.
Thanks I appreciate it as always, did you also get up in the middle of the night two years ago to order your station only to have their website crash 😂
I already have a Fry station. And thinking of also getting a wxm unit. Having a helium hotspot on my roof, would it make more sense to get the helium type wxm station vs wifi? Would that potentially boost my iot rewards due to more data traffic?
yes it will boost you iot rewards, it doesn't seem to make a difference with the wxm rewards on test net both wxm stations seem to get the same rewards.@@BorisXgen
Thanks for the video! Do you have any concerns on water leakage on the plate you mounted on the roof to hold the 3 miners? Did you silicone after it was screwed down? Also on the full chart, the break-even days/months, (lines 24 & 25,) Are they supposed to be Unverified? If you could only afford 1 weather miner, which one would you get? Sorry for all the questions today Swan, I get pumped when you post your vids!!
I used silicone and I have never had issues with water leaks in the two years they have been up there Yea it should be unverified break even I would go with Fry. I think there’s more risk with WXM with the pending go live and long wait time for a device
Just so you know, your calculations for the Fry High-End Weather Miner are wrong, you get 323.58 FRY per day. Recently the x2 multiplier has kicked in, so it's as of today 22nd rewarding 647.16 FRY per day
Is the Fry BYOD license lifetime or 1 year? Cool idea dual/triple mining. Need to find poles for installation in backyard. How is the battery life with the 6 AA alkaline cells? Identical models for WeatherXM and fry so who manufactures them.. Edit; 'Ambient Weather' so could be cheaper to buy the sensor directly from AW..
It's lifetime. I use my helium antenna's as my poles. Battery life is good, I have had my WeatherXM weather station up for almost 2 years and haven't had to change the batteries yet.
Hey Swan! Question, I recently received my WXM miner and am looking to install it now. Their whitepaper installation requirements seem awfully strict with a >6.5ft pole height and no nearby obstacles/shade. Do they have to check the position of the device before it starts earning? Im worried since the spot on my roof I'm planning on mounting is quite close to a very tall tree. It looks like the pole mounts you have are ~3-4ft long. I would much rather that then installing a 7+ft tall pole! Any further clarification would greatly appreciated! Ps, thank you for your amazing content! You got me interested in the crypto/depin market. Keep up the great work man!
I wouldn't worry too much about the pole length. No one is checking your install. They just want to get accurate weather data. I mounted on top of my helium antenna. I also have trees around my house and haven't seen any degradation in rewards. Thanks for watching!
thanks for this material... do you know if it is possible to have a bandwidth miner and say ... a satellite miner from Fry foundation in the same device? proveded you buy two BYOD license?
Swan, One more question, You mounted on your roof, did you have to run power to the device or data cable (Ethernet) or does it pick up on your wireless. I am not super handy man and was a little concerned on installing this. I have a friend who can help me but outside the device and BYOD License from Fry what else do I need. Do you have a video you can recommend for me to watch how to install this. Thanks so much.
It operates on a couple AA batteries and is WiFi enabled, so no cords involved. It comes with mounting brackets too. I don’t know of an install video off hand
wow buying the fry BYOD-Licence could not be more difficult o.0 also have the weatherXM-Station and wanted to buy the license too but way too complicated sadly
@@SwanCastleCrypto Fry outdoor satellite miner? And oops, you're right. Space and Weather are 2 different things. I was always told in school i never paid attention to detail 😆
interesting, it's on my shop page...ut when i switch my browser to incognito mode, it's not there. So maybe it only lists in certain locations? or their website is broken?
I just looked at my wallet and so am I, their website must of had the wrong number when I pull it. But I guess better I understated instead of overstated so the trolls don’t call me a liar lol
@@SwanCastleCryptoNothing wrong with the FRYS website that is showing the base rewards without any multipliers. There is 1.5x also an early bird multiplier, which is set to conclude on October 28th 2024. So 215.72x1.5=323.58 $FRY/day.
Hey Swan. It looks like you have a pad that you have all 3 of your antenna bases mounted to do you have a link for that or where did you get that from?
We will not earn triple rewards, they are giving way too much rewards, if you do the math the total supply will run out in like 2 years, they need to reduce the amount of daily rewards, and get the price up, at this moment the project is not sustainable. The fry discord is mess right now, they are voting the remove the ongoing bonuses because the team realized that the current model is not sustainable
it's all very uncertain I would agree. their tokenomics section of their whitepaper really doesn't lay out any specifics regards total supply or the allocation of tokens. Coin Gecko has a total supply of 8B tokens listed. Which if that's the case, I don't see lack of tokens being an immediate issue. but definitely a host of issues and concerns with the project long term.
@@SwanCastleCrypto if we take into account the current number of miners (at the moment, I am not counting an increase, which is unrealistic) and the current average of rewards, and we consider that the 8 billion is 100% for rewards (which is obviously not true) the rewards will last less than 4 years, with the verification program they would last close to 2, they need to change fast, its weird such high earnings with a very low marketcap, thst means they are giving way too much rewards. I hope they fix the reward system because I have 2 BYOD devices and one outdoor decibel on order... And I see potential in the project because when the DEPIN sector explodes everyone will want one of these miners.

Thanks, great video. The FRY website says you get 215 FRY per day unverified and 647 FRY per day verified. Why are you getting only 161 FRY ? Just working out if its worth it. Thanks
There are multipliers in effect now so the fry weather currently earns 647.16 per day unverified and the BYOD license earns 323.58 per day
Still good to get both the weather stations or too late ?
Yea I think so!

You should be getting x2 right now

weather xm miner never arrived. I have an ambient weather model on my roof. Without an AWM account, is there any way to view my miner details?
I don’t believe so

Swan, on the high end weather miner, which miner type do I need to choose on the Fry Site?
Hi Tom, if you’re in the US, choose US915 mhz
I'm wondering if I purchase the Fry high end miner if I can connect it to Wunderground as well? I'm also a storm spotter, so would be cool if I could.
I don’t see why you couldn’t
@@SwanCastleCrypto I just bought one, so when it gets here I’ll see if it lets me!

Hey, for the WeatherXM - Do you recommend WS2000 ? | FRY BYOD which one do you recommend
I would choose the cheapest one, I don’t think there is a difference in potential earnings between the two, but I could be mistaken
