      So, to confirm with the splitter - do we care if it has dc power block? the one you have listed doesn't say and for the price, I would guess not. Does that mean we safely assume all these GPS/GNSS receivers don't send power through the antenna port (Fry, GEOD, ArduSimple/Ntrip-X)? If I'm not mistaken, the antenna that comes with GEODNET does have +3v to +5.5v supply voltage and 48mA working current. Are you sure the Hyfix triple band receiver (or Fry, ArduSimple, NTRIP-X receivers) aren't sending power to the antenna? Also, would you know the DB loss going through either the 2way or 3way splitter you have listed?

      Great.. I wonder if its possible to use á single coax cable for different antennas?
      Is there any splitter which I can combine my Bobcat with Hyfix Antennas on the roof? Trying to avoid to run 20m cable again..

    • @milomatt12
      @milomatt12 4 месяца назад +1

      @saifaljabry3169 in theory, if you buy the right cables with the same terminators on the end, and bought the correct splitters for the type of Connectors, and frequency wavelength your operating between on the devices, I'm sure you COULD make it happen. But your quality of signal, or SNR, would degrade to a point of unusable data, and you wouldn't get paid. Not to mention the cost and amplifiers you'd need to negate or put a "bandaid" on the issue your creating by trying to do this, it's just better all round (for your sake and the projects) to run dedicated risers (cables) for each different type of device that runs on its own frequencies.

    Should there be a window open/running for the outdoor Satellite miner application on the PC, or does it run in the background and we can't see? My install failed on the first attempt. After uninstalling and installing again, i finally got to the pop-up asking for the secret phrase. After submitting, pop-up window went away and i closed the U-Center 2 window. But now i see nothing running. Is this normal? Just leave PC on and running and all should be good? Is there a specific process we can check for in task manager to ensure its running (setup is properly running)? Also, what happens in a power outage, and we boot the computer up again. Does the software auto-run on startup in the background?

    • @NordicCrypto
      @NordicCrypto  4 месяца назад +1

      That is perfectly normal! Make sure you register the miner on the Fry website. Then it will take a few work days before you start seeing rewards coming in. Also make sure to have a little algo tokens in the algorand wallet. Simply keep the computer up and running and it will work. Currently there are no ways for us to verify that the GNSS data is being recorded. However, there is a command prompt that pops up from time to time, that I see as the program is working. After a day or two you will also notice outgoing transactions coming from the algo wallet (that is gnss data being sent). In a power outage we simply need to start up the computer again, to the start screen (that's it). Great questions! Wish you a great sunday! /Nordic
