Find out how my Tundra does towing a 24 ft enclosed trailer loaded with a car! what's inside? what is my fuel economy? find out on the next episode of dragon ball z!
Glad to see the Tundra tows so well even without a weight distribution hitch. I have a 2022 as well and coming from a 2021 F-150, it feels more planted when towing, even with the coil suspension in the rear. I don't know if it's the frame or the added way but it's a really good tow rig.
@@coryscarchannel Yeah my 4x4 double cab limited comes in at 5800 lb. Not great for gas mileage but definitely improves stability when towing in my opinion.
Since we air tires to the max when towing our 22' enclosed car hauler when we empty it for the haul back we air down the tires from 80# to 60#. Without the WDH this still seems to really help against sway from passing vehicles. Great video of the Tundra's towing capability!
Nice truck. I have an 07 5.7, 430 gears. I added Sumo Springs front and rear, TRD Sway Bar; 38 foot travel trailer @ 10K; no problem. These trucks are more than capable with the right upgrades
Trailer is about 8,000 fully loaded. Feels great at 70 without a wdh. Be nice to have a hitch with a scale but I'm pretty good at distributing my weight.
Do you haul all the time or just occasionally. Any pointers on how I could do some loads to pick up some side k sh I would love doing that. I have a car hauler
So this car hauler is for my racecar. I will just pick up the occasional car for my friend. There's an app called uship you can make an account and bid jobs but it's pretty cutthroat. some bids are lower than the cost of fuel lol
Nice truck man that’s why I believe on those trucks I have a 2005 Toyota tundra max tow package and I pull her with a 38 foot trailer gooseneck trailer

The weight definitely helps. My 23 4x4 long bed weighs 5700 lbs non hybrid 😂

Thanks I appreciate it.. my truck has the HTs and their max Is 40 psi cold unfortunately. I will be getting LT or AT tires soon!

Good to hear I’m getting a hybrid soon 👍🏻
I didn't want the hybrid
Payload is what gets you on these trucks. Can't really handle a tongue weight over 750 lbs without being over your GVWR :( - Thx for the video though!

Cool video about to do the same in my tundra

Ya that’s nuts how that works.
Truck looks go !
Thanks for the info.
@@ericbuchta9765 thank you!
Why nobody said anything about the transmission temperature??? Come on guys the transmission temperature is the most important thing when towing
Airbags to level truck out? or just coils?
Factory air suspension
I use timbren and it’s amazing and costs a fraction of air ride and weighs less

That's pretty crazy! Where do you go with it? The old tundras are tanks I wanted the daily fuel economy of the new one though
I put at least 15,000 pounds in that trailer on with the truck and it pulls a better than a diesel truck
@@raulbueno4284 that's a lot of weight! You take it on the highway?
Yes I do
@@raulbueno4284 I would love to see it
