Two that have been on my list! I love the movie Stalker based on Roadside Picnic, but I’ve heard they are pretty different. I also read Fiasco by Lem awhile back, and I’ve been meaning to check out Solaris. Thanks for the recs!
I think if you really love the dune movie/ book and you want to dive deeper into the characters that you saw in the movies....
You need to backtrack and read the prequels which of the house trilogies... House harkonnen house Attreades house carino. It will give you a back story on all the characters you see in the movie and it's a really great 3 book story all by itself.

That series as been high on my to-read list since Dune! It thoroughly seems like it would be my jam. I was sold on it when it was described as "space religious pilgrimage" to me. Thanks for the rec!
