No, it’s already happening, they have contracts and shit so they cancel it. After the woman villian movie with Harley quinn is done, I think it called “birds of something” they’re going to start filming the next movie with joker and Harley and it’s due to come out in 2019.

For that exact reason. People didn't get enough time to connect with the character so they couldn't like him. Also playing the Joker comes with such high stakes especially when the last Live action Joker was Heath Ledger who was obviously the best Joker (Although Joaquin might have taken his place). He didn't have enough time to make his character and that's why it was dry.

I understand what Leto was trying to do here. Honestly, he did his best with what he was given. That look though, was ridiculous. The Joker doesn't care about money. He doesn't need bling. He's the antithesis of those things. The tattoos? Not necessary. They tried to make a Joker that was everything that he actually wasn't. Focused on material objects and "things". I think if given a better script and they focused the Joker on who he really was, that Leto may have been a great Joker. I feel bad that he was really excited for the role, but the script and look of the Joker given to him, wasn't fantastic.

Maybe coz Suicide Squad movie didn't know what to do with The Joker. Also The Joker didn't add much to the plot or main story except that he exists in it. Suicide Squad itself doesn't have much going on anyway so I'd say they could have made The Joker kind of like a plot device? and make him the true villain of the film instead. Was a little disappointed, because I didn't feel anything from Jared's Joker.

For that exact reason. People didn't get enough time to connect with the character so they couldn't like him. Also playing the Joker comes with such high stakes especially when the last Live action Joker was Heath Ledger who was obviously the best Joker (Although Joaquin might have taken his place). He didn't have enough time to make his character and that's why it was dry.

The joker is such an intense character any actor that plays him slowly becomes him over time it’s at a certain extent an incredible thing to see
I understand what Leto was trying to do here. Honestly, he did his best with what he was given. That look though, was ridiculous. The Joker doesn't care about money. He doesn't need bling. He's the antithesis of those things. The tattoos? Not necessary. They tried to make a Joker that was everything that he actually wasn't. Focused on material objects and "things". I think if given a better script and they focused the Joker on who he really was, that Leto may have been a great Joker. I feel bad that he was really excited for the role, but the script and look of the Joker given to him, wasn't fantastic.

For so long, I thought this was Jared Leto’s incarnation. Now, I realize that this came from the writers and Leto just did what he could.
People always complain that Leto's joker was terrible all style no substance but he barely gets any screen time, not nearly enough to build a complex multidimensional character. The guy did the best for the script he had.

Suicide Squad itself doesn't have much going on anyway so I'd say they could have made The Joker kind of like a plot device? and make him the true villain of the film instead.
