    We noticed we had a few videos that are variations of the flower sweep:

    But here is a public video that goes over the details of the flower sweep.

    You can see so much care for his training partner in the way he cradles and pats the head at the end.

    It makes so much more sense to grip the far distance sleeve. Thank you Mestre

      I'm actually wondering why the far distant one rather than the one on the collar. I'm just curious

    Can you pull this off without the pant grip?

  • @3starbadman
    @3starbadman 3 месяца назад

    Hmm, very interesting. I've always been taught that you need to move your head away from the side that you're sweeping him to, but JJ doesn't do that here. This method looks so much easier, I will have to try this instead

    I ask myself if this also works in nogi. Grip on wrist, c-grip on knee, these grips are not that strong, but maybe it's enough?

    • @JeanJacquesMachadoOFFICIAL
      @JeanJacquesMachadoOFFICIAL  Год назад +3

      Grip on wrist, and UNDERHOOK the legs. As you go for the sweep you put your ear to their knee, so to speak.
