Damn the pacing in this show is really good, literally not even 10 episodes in and we’re already dealing with another humanoid Kaiju. The Sakuga level animation for Hoshina was dope to see too.

@@samit5255 They animated up to 5 chapters in this episode. If they keep this pace in the next ep (meaning we'll get 5 chapters covered) then ep 10 might end with Kafka's BIG moment. And 11 and 12 could be devoted to his "prove you're human" fight. At least that way Kaiju No. 8 Season 1 could end with a good Kafka focused amount of eps.

i love how the studio adapts the manga, the only thing i want to criticize is the translation. in the manga, Hoshina;s 6th skill is called Strata Strike which i find sounds cooler than eightfold slashes

Kafka really needs to fight this red kaiju. Fortitude 9.0 is one thing, but it becomes a giant, and Hoshina stated that he is not good with giant kaiju. And the captain is away too 💀
