Also what happened to my boy Hoshino(the instructor guy who kept laughing at Kafka😭), he looks so goofy compared to the manga(bro's built in the manga). Both are top 5 characters and your definitely gonna love them as the show goes on❤❤😂
I like him being goofy here. It'll be more impactful when he pops off fr. Oh how I love him!!! Also the goofy Hoshina is adorable af more so than the manga. I mean he's goated in the manga too, don't get me wrong. And I love his dialect, supports the goofiness.
The suit has sensors. The examiners use it to monitor, not only the examinees' progress in suit compatibility training, but also their vitals. The second Kafka even tries to use his kaiju body, they'll immediately see an anomaly. He can't risk it, but also he doesn't want to cheat his way through the exam. (No matter how much he wants to show off to Shinomiya. 😂)
Of the various anime reactors I’ve watched, I like this setup the best. The semi transparent overlay with the actual screen you’re watching visible is really nice, plus at those times when the overlay is turned off, the laptop screen is still visible so I feel like I’m not missing out. Also using separate audio tracks so you can mute the show when needed but leave yourself unmuted is a plus.
Fun fact each chapter (now episode) in this Manga is pure gas and no dull moments, you're in for a treat I tell you this show is THAT SHOW and I can't wait for tomorrow because "We do not sleep for what???!!!“ 🗿🍷
My theory is that Kafka's kaiju power is a drain on his regular physical ability, and that retaining control over his kaiju power is preventing him from syncing with his suit. I really hope he goes nuts next episode.

Extra info: The suit can't heal you, if you get hurt it's more like the suit strengthens you and pushes your body to the limit ignoring injuries. It may be able to stop the bleeding but the wound will still be there.
Kafka went to hospital initially for a broken leg, so definitely he can heal in Kaiju mode. Shinomiya out here embarrassing him, her experience with private suit + her hobby is paying off (she's cool).
His body is literally suppose to be immune to the effects of the suit. Before he got his kaiju powers he had 0 compatibility with the suits and after getting his kaiju powers his compatibility was suppose to plummet down to the negatives. The fact he somehow got it up by a little amount is something no one in kafkas situation has ever achieved.

I swear people missing the point of kafka not using his power. The man wants to do this on his own merits. Without revealing himself. His own power does grow throughout the series
This feels more like a filler episode and character introduction. Kafka's body is predominantly Kaiju which is probably why the suit doesn't respond to him. That .01% is probably the human body left. Next episode would be lit.

I wonder what all those guys in the test class would say if they realized that Shinomiya has had previous training in the suit, she was literally wearing it to the test. She has an advantage that she is exploiting while passing it off as if it is just due to being a prodigy (which have tendency to flounder when they get older). I find her so bloody annoying, she tossed a car for a parking spot, ffs!
Dude, in season 2 they should change the character design, its looks goofy and straight body, in manga they have more edgy pointy cool design, specially vice captain hoshina.

Haven't watched the episode yet but will be sure to be back once I do. Will see how it was adapted but I'm pretty sure that what I really want to see will be in next week's episode. I really want to see "HIM" in the anime, how he is gonna look, what will he sound like and so on. They haven't included him anywhere while promoting the anime, he has been a secret so far.
