Why buy a gt500 when u can put a supercharger on the gt350 and it’s a manual
Quiksilver1017 you cant just add just a supercharger and call it a day... you need to tune the transmission to handle the torque boost buy a whole bunch of heat exchangers and coolants because the engines going to start heating like the sun theres so much that needs to be done 🤦🏽♂️
@@adibmir2096 I never seen any of the boosted GT350s talk about heat issues, the only problem with these cars is oil delivery, and for that you need to upgrade OPG, in stock form this car has alot of cooling headroom, bot talking about the tech pack that has no oil coolers though
Adib Mir well, yes there is alot to be done but Coyote and the Voodoo engines actually take boost pretty nicely and dont overheat as crazy as others(granted supporting mods will be needed, but these newer mustang engines can take quite a beating)

I have a gt350 non R w/same whipple setup and he’s right on point with this review. It’s insane and I can’t get enough of it!

I have a 17 which comes with all the track pack stuff that was an option before (coolers etc) so I was thinking when my warranty is gone I’d add a whipple, but I really didn’t want to fart with the valved exhaust. What do you think?

That's probably the best in car video I've ever seen. The view from the right side towards the trees is insane.
It's like a European V8 had a baby with conjoined K20 VTecs, and it was raised by American Muscle. And when that baby cries, it sounds like a Whipple. Ford got the future of Exotic V8 Americana on lock with that sweet, high-revving flat-plane crank V8. Plus it's a Stang that can actually handle and that exotic V8 symphony doesn't cost as much as a small house.
Pretty much driving a manual 2020 gt500 at that point lol Ford take note that is what the true enthusiast want haha
I agree. I feel like the designers were so focused on making the fastest car they could, they forgot to ask themselves "who will buy this car?" And "how will this car make people feel?" A manual plays a huge part in that, and the enthusiasts who would have bought the new gt500 don't want boring paddle shifters.

Your reaction to this car reminds me of Matt Farrah from The Smoking Tire's review and Randy Pobst's review of the stock GT350R. All smiles and giggles, lots of high revs and hammering the brakes for some turns. Both guys do track and or testing on winding roads; and both were absolutely flabbergasted about how well the car handles and puts down the power coming out of corners. From what I just saw here, the new GT500 should be an absolute MONSTER on a race track. We already know that the 350 is exceptional, but this supercharged one takes the frickin cake!!! Great video, I'm jealous, LOL 😂😂

All that torque early on followed by phenomenal horsepower. I love whipple. Been running one on a 08 GT/CS since 2007. 505hp and 489 torque. Back tire numbers of course. I like to piss off same year Z06’s by saying I have the same hp at my back tires that you make at the crank. The CS has drug a few unsuspecting cars. Again, love whipple.

I can say beyond a doubt if you own a GT350 you need to absolutely go with a Gen 5 Whipple. Pump gas puts the car where it should have been from the factory and if you go wild add e85, more boost, and upgrade the TR3160 to T56 Magnum XL and you'll easily touch 1000hp reliable

That things sounds nuts but IMO the stock mufflers would sound even better with those headers. One day i will have one like this but making even more power! My dad had a stock Gt350 and it was a blast to drive.

That's a badass GT350R! If I owned one, I would definitely slap a Whipple on top of that 5.2L VooDoo! Now that Ford has beefed up '19 & up GT350s with some GT500 engine upgrades, it's very tempting to buy one of these beasts! Sounds like an angry Chewbacca on steroids!
May lose new factory warranty with the added supercharger, due to added heat, etc.etc, should check with dealer and Ford? Unless ur money unlimited.

I had the opportunity to,buy a GT 350 brand new when I bought my Roush Mustang. At the time,I didn’t know much about the new Mustangs and past on it because I didn’t like the Recarro seats LOL ! I didn’t know how awesome the GT 350 was.but those seats squashed metro much. Little did I know the dealer would of swapped out the seats for mor comfortable ones ! Oh well my loss! LOL
