Your attention to detail is impressive. Have you thought of making. A book press for the patterns and booklets so easy two wooden cutting boards with a carriage bolt in each corner.
Similar to a flower press? I hadn’t though of that.. but for the amount of patterns I fold and make at a time, I’m not sure if it would actually speed up the process?
@Rosery Apparel you would put all in one go and consistent both patterns and booklets. I didn't think I needed one till I started to use one .
Always so much fun to see what you're up to! I love your dresses and was lucky enough to be able to buy one when you still made and sold dresses, I've since then moved to Sweden and of course brought the dress with me! Now I'm starting to get into sewing and soon I think I'm ready to try out one of your patterns and make one for myself. Thank you for being such an inspiration!

I probably could save time if I got them bound, but I really love being as hands on with making these patterns as possible as I genuinely love the process of putting them together so much! Plus I think the hand stitched binding is a special touch 😊

Hi Janelle, love watching the process of making your patterns and sewing kits! With the sewing kits, do you put in enough fabric up to a size 24 in all of the kits, or do you make a couple of kits for each size?
Yes there’s enough fabric in the 14-24 kits for up to size 24! And likewise, the 4-14 kits have enough fabric for up to size 14. Both size sets have a similar amount of kits (plus one of a kind kits) available 😊
Can I make a cheeky request? I’d love an overview of all your pattern envelop & instruction booklets, maybe on Instagram? I love your brand style and I think it would be sooooo satisfying to see them all together 🤗

Yes! You were able to choose the pattern you wanted with my last batch of kits and I hope to do that again maybe around Christmas time.

Would you consider making projector friendly patterns to go along with your PDF patterns?
I’ve heard of some of my customers using the A0 doc with their projectors and I think it works fine! What exactly do you need for a projected pattern?

I hand draft the patterns myself, then scan the pencil drawings onto my computer and then draw them up digitally on Illustrator 😊

You could sell some of the fabrics you find instead of making them into kits.
