@@TheBAMFamalam I was just wondering. Do they have display homes in the UK ?
@@Ozvideo1959 they do, but they are different in that you tend to have 1 or 2 display homes per new build estate, and the homes will either all be the same, or very similar. The builder builds the whole estate, you do not buy the block and then choose the builder 😊
@@TheBAMFamalam So a bit different than here. I have noticed from the British houses I have seen that to me they don't seem to have much glass like houses here.
I suppose that's to do with insulating against the cold in winter but it must make them pretty dark too.
@@Ozvideo1959 no, not quite as open and bright as here. They do have conservatories though, which are glass rooms and super nice to sit in on a sunny day 😊
As a ex UK citizen with 25 years here, I am really enjoying your story. When you can, please take your girls to Hervey Bay and see the whales. Only a 2 hour drive north. You can thankme later.

I lived on the Sunshine coast, currently living in Bali.
We've yet to go to Bali, you probably can't go far wrong in either place though 🥰
Thanks for taking the time to create these. We are a family in the UK, have completed the skills assessment, just passe the PTE English test with 85+ in all sections so are now about to send off the visa application. Finally! We plan to move to QLD, sunshine or gold coast. Would be nice to see a video on types of houses compared to UK (c£350k). Thank you and take care

Unfortunately the visa process has slowed down for offshore applicants. I'm in a position of having 70 points for the 189 visa (65 min as you know) where they are most likely accepting those with 90 points or more. Still, I will lodge the EOI in hope :) So envious of your family living the dream, my family won't give up haha

We have moved from Worcester, United Kingdom .It has been four months since we moved to Australia.

Welcome to Australia! TBH as we don't live in Brissie, we can't recommend suburbs. I lived by Southbank, but that was over 20 years ago. It's a beautiful city, and we're sure you'll have no trouble finding somewhere awesome to live ❤️
