To see and hear such passion and enthusiasm for machine knitting from such a young and vibrant person is so heartening and inspiring!
Too often machine knitting is dismissed by those who should know better as being boring, dated and 'only for old women', instead of the vibrant, interesting, creative technique it is, a technology which includes and is involved in everything from cutting-edge fashion and art installations, to state of the art engineering developments and medical/surgical innovations, through income-earning opportunities for widows and other unsupported women in areas of the world where conflict has raged.
Thank you - with people like you, the craft is in safe hands!

      Thank you!!
Oh that must have been so awesome. Really hope I would learn to use a Stoll machine one day as well.
How would that work on a Stoll, though? would do actually do some knitting on a machine or just program the stitches? thank you ❤️ I would love to hear more about your experience, I am very curious 🤗

@@Knitology1x1 a couple years back as a press move Stoll bought a Knitwear development company called Knit resource. We would do development in all kinds of knitting machines, from Dubieds to smaller brother machines depending on the job, also on the Stoll machines themselves. We made samples for Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, The Row, Nike even, and other designers, and that was their aim to say “oh, look... all these fashion houses use Stoll instead of Shima Seiki” 😂
Sadly they disbanded the division, i think 2 years ago.

Your videos are very inspiring and your work is very creative. Where do you like to source your yarn from?

      Thank you ❤️
Recently, I purchased some yarn from Todd and Duncan. I got some lambswool and cotton cashmere and they are amazing ❤️ but in the past I bought yarn from Uppingham Yarns or Yeoman.
In the past I had also purchased at a reduced price from students/other knitters; yarn that they didn't need anymore and I got some great bargains this way. I connected with them through Instagram ( some spinners : Zegna Baruffa, Iafil, etc. )
Hope this helps. Take care ❤️
