  • Have you ever wondered how much flex you get out of an EVO Manufacturing 3" lift kit on a Wrangler JK? Join us in the Northrdige4x4 DIY Garage to find out.
    We're on a quest to get a ton of flex out of a 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK. We're starting with the EVO Mfg 3" Enforcer Lift kit, stage 1, to see how much more flex we get over the OE suspension. To maximize the amount of flex we can get, we are adding in a longer set of FOX 2.0 Performance series shocks with the remote reservoirs.
    Mixing the 4-6" FOX shocks in with the smaller 3" EVO Mfg. lift kit can cause other issues that we will have to address in this video and in future videos.
    We did end up with more flex out of the suspension that we thought, though we will have to do more mods to get the full potential out of this EVO Mfg. lift kit.
    So make sure to subscribe and hit that notification bell so you can updates every time we release a new video covering the search for flex in a JK.

    Should have disconnected the sway bar on the stock rig to get a real side by side comparison. Oh well, next time.

    Did you do anything with the front trackbar? Does an adjustable trackbar need to be added with a 3" lift?

      Haven't done anything yet and amazingly it drives pretty good. We'll be doing adjustable front and rear trackballs and discussing the geometry in an upcoming video.

    What's the best 2" lifts for a dd JK 2door? Don't really wheel just want a small lift with a great ride.

      That's a loaded question Ben, there are some good 2" kits out there. If you are interested in going to 2.5" they are even more kits to choose from.
      Give us a ring at 866-601-5340 or drop us an email: sales@northridge4x4, give us some more specifics on your Jeep and how you intend to use it and we can help get you into a lift kit that is right for you.

    How well will the stock control arms stand up to the additional flex?!?

    • @northridgenation
      @northridgenation  4 года назад

      The bushings don't like it too much and those arms are pretty wimpy.
      We'll be swapping out the rest of the arms with EVO arms in a future video. We wanted to see how much flex we could get with the stage 1 kit.
