Another great video Danny. While it's deep close in a bait dropper would work perfectly, all your bait bang on the bottom exactly on the spot where you choose.

Fished a club match on the Weaver in the 70's. We were fishing for a bite. I had one, a gudgeon. But mine was smaller than the other one caught. I didn't win the Xmas pudding!! Things have changed for the better!
Sorry for your loss Danny. I know when i was young, the Weaver was, as you said, void of fish. Is the improvement due to heavy restocking? Or have the fish just migrated from the none polluted areas upstream? Either way, its great to see the resurrection of one of our local rivers.
