I love the beauty of simplicity, mastering the basics is true training, doing squats takes us to another physical, mental and spiritual level, People who don't integrate squats into their routine don't know what they're missing. stay hard, congrats
I’m 66. I just found your channel and it’s fantastic. Great leg workout. I’m going to try to incorporate some of that into my leg routine. I’m three months out from knee replacement surgery so my doctor said I could start training again my legs on a regular basis so I’m gonna try a scaled down version of this workout you posted, thank you for the great content you have and I also subscribed to your channel too.
This looks like the workout I was doing during the lockdown when the gyms were closed. I have an adjustable 40 lb vest. Also a pair of 35lb dumbbells. Now that the gyms are open I usually go there for lower body day but I need to get back into this workout because I actually got some really good gains from it!! Excellent video! Thanks!
I used to treat myself to DQ peanut buster parfait with caramel ADDED.! LOL Then one day I thought to myself, wait, why would I be eating poision to treat myself and it all didn't make sense. BUT you are so right. The treat...is now the burger basket deal. A little bit of burger fries and soda AND a little caramel sundae...LOL IT usually cleans out my system! if you know what I mean, LOL Great video again. Not all your videos show up on your page. But I like being surprised when a new /old one pops up. I also love that you aren't cursing through the whole thing. Actual conversational instruction. Nice.
Great content. So simple yet not easy. I would be really interested how you keep track of your workouts, as you're taking notes in your book. And why, for sure.
Great stuff. Looks like you train pretty much the same way as me with the same kind of equipment. I’m still interested to see how you incorporate heavy bag, I can’t figure what is the most effective before or after Calisthenics or a separate session.
@@jrich9674thanks for the reply, I keep trying before working out as a warm up or after working out as a finisher. Can’t make up my mind which I prefer. Thanks for putting up the videos, I’m 67 now and have been working out for years experimenting with different approaches but I’m finally coming to the conclusion that the approach you take and the likes of K Bogues and Old Dog are the simplest and most effective. Please keep up the good work.
Are you basically just maintaining your current physique or are you trying to get more reps faster? If you’re willing I’d love to see your full routine and times. I’m switching over to this style training because I’ve been hurting myself with heavy weights lately.
I see you writing down your sets. How do you use that information to adjust future workouts? I’ve written down some of my workouts, but I don’t know what to do with the information next workouts. Any tips?

These are muscle building routines that I’m doing. This is mainly how I built my physique.
Good work 🫡 how heavy is the vest?
20lbs. Thx!
What’s the amount of reps that you do for each round and exercise?
I see you writing down your sets. How do you use that information to adjust future workouts? I’ve written down some of my workouts, but I don’t know what to do with the information next workouts. Any tips?
I’ll make a video on it. Too much to type.
@ that would be awesome! Thanks
Where did you buy that tee shirt? Thanks😊
Hmm… can’t remember
Are you doing your push, pull, leg routine once a week or are you taking a day off & doing it again?
Right now, I’m doing five days a week
Push
Pull
Legs
Arms
Full body
Do you do a warm up or just get straight to the workout?
I usually jump straight to it. But I’m coming from work so I’m pretty loose still.
@@jrich9674that makes sense. I usually train first thing in the morning so feel like I need to mobilise in some way.
how many times do you train x week?
5.
You're shreeded as the desert man. I know you don't count but what do you think how many calories you eat in a day? 2500-2700?
Let me figure it out and I’ll get back to you. 🫡
I'm here for the battle cat.😼
@@tonystoops7802 🤣 that thing is wild. She won’t even let me pet her very much.
Go to failure or target number of reps on these?
I count my reps from week to week.
@jrich9674 yeah I saw you writing down the numbers. Ok got it
Were you in the military ? You're discipline would suggest so.
Appreciate it! No, but I follow more military guys for my fitness goals.
At least you’re not out in the cold wind today. Still getting after it. Keep pushing.🇺🇸🪖👍
