Fields is protcting the ball, however there were 6 times Fields almost did turn over the ball. Also there seems to be an issue with Fields and his center. Also Fields does not see the playing field as well as Wilson does. You also have to consider if the Steelers do stick with Fields they will have to pick up his 5th year option
Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades! I wouldn't sweat almost turnovers. But I do agree with you in that things weren't perfect. I was hoping for that to get ironed out as the season went on with Fields as QB1. But I'll take Russell Wilson after the game he played. He looked good even after missing these first 6 weeks.
I'm high on Pittsburgh (I have them Ranked #9), and if the offense trends up, they're going to keep going up. I've had them as high as #5 or #6 so far this season. Touting wins over the Falcons, and Chargers team that didn't have both start LTs and a one-legged Justin Herbert, and a 13-6 win over the Broncos, isn't exactly a flex. The offense needs to prove they really are better with Wilson in more than just one game against a dead Jets team. Again, I've got all the love and respect for Pittsburgh, that defense is one of the best, if not THE best in the league. But they're not perfect, and their 2 losses, one being to JOE FLACCO, showed that.

Chiefs 6-0, with help from the Zebras! That should be an L to the Falcons! They get some weapons back, but a few are out for the year, gonna be tough this year against the likes of the Ravens, Bills and Texans!

In a vacuum, his injury is an unfortunate way for a season to end. Nothing about me feeling sorry, nothing about "no one deserves an injury like Deshaun Watson got," which was quoted by the AI boat and not something I even said. If it was my way, he would've been benched. I'd rather have seen that happen because that's what he deserved. To be told to sit his ass down because he's playing like trash. The roster is really talented, and they did reload the O-line (granted it doesn't seem to have worked). Rodgers is potentially regressing faster than anticipated, and the coaching/front office situation is awful. But it was fair to assume they'd at least be competing for a playoff spot.

Why I am not as impressed with the Vikings compared to you? It was in their house, coming off the bye and Flores has given up 4 30-point games since joining the Vikings and 3 of them are by the Lions! Goff under pressure and all these weapons are going to be a problem for EVERYBODY!
Detroit is an absolute wagon right now and will give anyone problem at this point. But I have to respect the fact that the Vikings are 5-1 and lost by only 2 points. Ravens, Chiefs, Lions, Vikings, Steelers, Bills. I put Pittsburgh in because Russel Wilson makes them better.
Give me another week or two of good Russell Wilson played, and I can get on board with the Steelers being a legit contender going forward.
I think either Mike Williams or Hopkins to the Steelers will happen, and that could honestly rocket their chances of making a deep run
