What rookie mistakes did Quinyon Mitchell have? We had 1 blown coverage on the backend & the defense is trash?? What about starting the game in the redzone twice & holding them to 2 field goals! Packs were 3 for 11 on 3rd down & 1 for 4 in the redzone... Defense is not elite, but being -2 in the turnover battle & still only allowing 29 points!! What are we talkin bout?? 🤔
Go back and check the film on him. He looked good. Don't get me wrong. But he had his share of mistakes, too. It was Week 1 of his rookie season. There is plenty of room for him to grow, he wasn't perfect. My issues with the defense overall weren't on short field positions. The positives you stated are valid. It's about what they did let up. I also never said the defense was trash. But they showed that they've got work to do against the pass.

You said rookie mistakes, and I'm asking where? Give me a time stamp in the game, so I can see what your talking about! D does have work to do on the backend... that's my thing tho, never given credit for the solid hard nose football, but torn down buy 1 flashly play, & a blown coverage... Pack #2 rb, had some good solid vision runs, Josh had 1 big run... Now if your saying be more gap sound, better recognition from the guys in the box, then that makes sense.
Why am I going to go and fetch timestamps after you just completely dismissed one of the big mistakes? I'm fine with agreeing to disagree with you. And if I didn't say it in this video, during my power rankings earlier in the week I'm about 90% positive I complimented them for looking much better against the run Week 1 than they did the last 6 or so games of last season. The reality is that I'm not going to hit every single detail of every single team in every single video I do. I'm talking about 16 games and 32 teams here, and it took me an hour to get through what I did discuss.

I keep the ones that people are flat out just talking shit to me 😂 My point on that was to help you understand why I may have mentioned a negative in this video about the Eagles D and not a positive that you mentioned, I only have so much time to talk here. There's never any hurt feelings in here, and I more than appreciate all the conversation I get in here, yours included. And you can say the PI was one of them. You can't just dismiss something because vets do it too. Young DBs struggle with how tight the NFL is with their PI calls. I'm honestly shocked he didn't get called for the deep shot to Christian Watson at the left side of the end zone. Not saying it should have been, but there's a case for it to have been. There's also some positioning he was in on a couple of passes. Took a couple of bad pursuit angles on some runs. Again, not a ton, but they were there. He still played well.

I might be wrong I’ve been wrong before but I just don’t see it happening especially with it being this early in the season and everyone is healthy for the most part
Who Dat! Gonna depend on if klint can put up 20 points and DA out schemes their offense. I think that’s why we look leaps and bounds better DA is a defensive genius and klint has a modern offensive mind. We beat the Cowboys we definitely have a shot at a 12 win+ record
