honestly I'm not surprised. Lego has (in my opinion) an ridiculous price policy. the original List prices given by lego just are too high were a lot of people can't afford it. at these prices the demand isn't there, not even for a lot of collectors.
Honestly, I don't know why they thought buildable figures were a good idea. They tried to do the same thing with ben 10 back in 2010 and those figures failed miserably, so it's jarring that lego did the same exact thing with star wars. It was decent for droids and non organic characters, but for people like ray, the specialized pieces made it worthless for making mocs and it didn't help that the price made it too costly for most.
@@gigerdevoter5577 that’s actually a good point with it being useless to moc builders. I haven’t thought of that. Thank you for leaving a comment, I appreciate the support
Many of those sets were obtainable at around 30-40% below RRP anyway. So if you were able to secure one at a good discount you would have made a small profit. Let's see how they go in the long term.
@@peterdaigle5381 that’s my bad, I edited a video wayyyyyy after I filmed it so a lot of prices changed. And I totally forgot to mention it in the beginning
How about buying Legos because you enjoy them, and not because you want to turn a profit?

I was expecting bigger price drops, closer to 15% up to 30% lower, but nah, just $5-$10 on most of them. Still some surprises, but was expecting more

Just never buy anything based on disney stat wars and you'll probably be fine

Nah man you see the price per piece!! anything over 10 pence per piece can gtf.
If you buying lego because of the value, that means you look a lot like chris chan
