@@funnygamer361 I had a similar story with Cars on the DS. I saw it used at GAME (the UK equivalent to Game Stop) as a kid and thought it was Cars 2 on DS (a game I really wanted at the time) so I just bought it on a whim, not realising prolly until I got home that it was just a minigame collection. I was so disappointed.
Oh my god talk about a buried memory man holy crap lol. I remember sitting in front of this old Magnavox CRT playing all sorts of Cars related minigames on my V-Smile when I was like 3 or 4. Not for long though, I got Cars on Xbox 360 not even a year later for my birthday. Still have that copy too, took very good care of it.
I remember having a demo of this game but never the full version. My main memory of it was that it used the same model and animation file formats as the PC version of Battle for Bikini Bottom, so with a bit of copying and pasting you could put Spongebob characters in the game (though it didn't work the other way round iirc)
I remember playing this one growing up but I also remember Cars rev it up in Radiator Springs on the vsmile as well as I think Cars Supercharged on the Leapster
This feels like a bunch of free flash games bundled together onto a CD. And not good ones, lol. I'm shocked it's actually on Steam, all the way through the video I was assuming it was abandonware! It's a disappointing game, but it's still cool that you're being so thorough with your cars series reviews that you're tracking down and playing every last game no matter how bad, haha!
As a kid I played the absolute hell out of this. I was about 6 or 7 when Cars was the big thing so I grew up on this more than the more commonly beloved Cars PC game. I recently replayed it after finding out it was on Steam and I wondered what was so entertaining for me back then. I specifically remember finding Doc and Lizzie's game the most enjoyable but I couldn't stand playing it for more than 10 minutes as an adult. Lovely video as per usual
I know this game existed but I didn't know that it's a minigame collection. But tbh it's still better than Cars 1 on the DS imo because Radiator Springs Adventures has at least some sort of tractor tripping and also some different minigames.
I remember getting this because it had cars on it. And by that I mean, I wasn't aware of the "Cars" movie yet and I like cars. Was disappoint to see that it isn't a racing game.
I bought this back then as PC was what I bought for game before PS2. It was alright. Quite a fun game, I must say. Even with the existence of PS2 version, I would love to give this little game a go again.
so fun fact, almost all of the games files are completely unencrypted. so you can replace all of the games assets with whatever jpg, png, and wav file you want. naturally i replaced many of the sounds effects with goofy ahh noises. example, ramone's mini game i replace the song with that one haruka song from yakuza 5 and the hydraulic sounds with kendrick lamar's scream and metal pipe falling sound effects do what you will with this information
I think I had that game, but I remember being somehow fond of it, but looking at now. I completely lost interested of the game, due to just being minigames like DS Cars: The video game.
I actually remember playing this game alot when i was little, i lived in a small town and there was a library and in there they had computers and all of them had that cars game, and holy sh*t i had a good time playing that game lol. Everytime we went to that library, first thing i wanted to do was play that game beside checking out a book lol
Oh yeah I remember got this instead of NFS and the old man got it because it has Terrawars NY Invasion instead of Battlefield or Call of Duty cuz those are "too violence"
This is one of those games I remember them as I see the gameplay but would have forgotten otherwise. Probably a good thing. The only one I forgot entirely was the last mini game but the rest came back to me
forgot to mention the character models and music are pretty much all recycled from TVG. Guess it's not all bad. The drive-in movie theater gamemode gives us another angle of cut camper van character model only ever seen in sprite form during Piston Cup races in TVG... and... well... that's like, all the positives I have to say. I like me some beta content.
Reminds me of the PS2 vs PC versions of NFS Hot Pursuit 2. Cars seems to exaggerate that by have a verey clear quality and quantity difference between versions. PS2 4 Life!
It's pretty obvious that this is aimed at extremely young kids but I'm sure tons of kids had family members who didn't know any better and bought them this. Also I'm going to assume the cars clipping through the gas pumps is a compatibility issue eith modern operating systems because if it eas actually released like that, yikes.
You gotta think about all the kids who accidentally got this instead of the main Cars game for PC.
I had the Cars game for the PC! I played the Sheriff chase game all the time! So many good memories!

Me. I was pissed when I found out it was a minigame collection. I've never played the actual Cars game up to this day lmao
@@farrelghifari2385 trust me. It’s wayy better than this version.
They did made a cars game for the old Vsmile console called Cars: Rev It Up In Radiator Springs
I grew up with game as well as this game I also remember the Leapster Cars game as well

Doc casually drives more reckless than mcqueen by ramming into the petrol station
I accidentally bought this one when I was a kid.
Imagine my disappointment

I got this game in a 2 pack with the og Cars game and this for pc. So I got peak and mid in the same bundle!
Same here

does anyone remember the maters tall tales game? i loved it as a kid
I just finished that game last week

On the steam page it's very weird I might pick this up with the other cars games on steam
I remember getting this because it had cars on it. And by that I mean, I wasn't aware of the "Cars" movie yet and I like cars. Was disappoint to see that it isn't a racing game.
I remember this game. My aunt got it for me one day, and I only recall playing it once.
There's not much replay value in it
Thanks for doing my video request! Also do Mater's Tall
Tales for Wii.
I bought this back then as PC was what I bought for game before PS2. It was alright. Quite a fun game, I must say. Even with the existence of PS2 version, I would love to give this little game a go again.
This was the very first video game I ever played. I was 4. I still have it and I'm lucky PCs aren't made with disc drives anymore.
I remember playing this on my grandparents old Presario 2100 computer years ago
These games remind me of those like Disney games on flights overseas
I got this game on steam in a bundle with the og cars game and mater national so I basically got this game free. I enjoyed it but it is pretty mid.
Now play Mater's Tall Tales for the Wii!!!
I bought this game in 3-pack with the classic Cars TVG and MN and this one was such a boring and nothing time and I complete it in one hour

do what you will with this information
This was a game I actually played in childhood! I remember I played this first before the actual console game.
PC games used to not have the same quality as console titles, so this criticism makes sense.
I think I had that game, but I remember being somehow fond of it, but looking at now. I completely lost interested of the game, due to just being minigames like DS Cars: The video game.
Well... I already have a playlist for this game in my chaqnnel...

What do you mean I shouldn’t play it? I WANT TO
Still better than Cars 3 DTW. That game will remain sloppy until the end of time (or until the devs pull a Booster Course Pass)
Oh yeah I remember got this instead of NFS and the old man got it because it has Terrawars NY Invasion instead of Battlefield or Call of Duty cuz those are "too violence"

I legit got the luigi’s tire shop minigame for free in a box of cereal 💀💀

Oh that's cool!!!
You can never escape mini game collection games
You kidding me? Awful game? I absolutely LOVED this game when I was a kid!!!
yoooo you actually covered it lol i played this game a lot as a little kid
Review the Cars V Smile game
Reminds me of the PS2 vs PC versions of NFS Hot Pursuit 2. Cars seems to exaggerate that by have a verey clear quality and quantity difference between versions. PS2 4 Life!
I played this before when I was a kid.
This awful thing is pure nostalgia! Look at the horrible graphics. ah, memories.

I remember playing this
Interesting out of nostalgia I bought a steam cars pack and this game was part of it glad I haven't touched it yet.
I played this a fuckton on my windows xp pc back in the day, I got really sad it disappeared from my library.
EDIT: IT'S ON STEAM???
Are these like games from the old website?
No but they aren't any better than old website games
@@mattwolf7698 I just remember a promotional website for the movie that stuff unlocked the closet to release it got
Why are you telling me I shouldn't play the PC-exclusive Cars game when I do NOT have a PC at all? Why shouldn't I play it?
It's not worth anybody's time if they are older than 6.
@@mattwolf7698
Older than 6?! But what if they're a Cars fan? Should they not play it as well?
