This channel is so underrated. Uses the right scientific tools and considers different situations when testing (in this case a weight on the mouse to simulate hand+mouse combined weight). Not to throw shade to other channels but some of them just tell what they feel, without using any tools. More people need to sub & check out this channel.
Thanks man appreciate it 🤗. The reason I started reviewing tech in this manor is because I wanted to see some data to help me compare different peripherals. The full detailed mice reviews like the Razer viper mini will blow your mind with data 😜.
great review with actual science and thought behind the comments and ratings. I really wish other youtubers would start putting in this much raw WORK and effort and thought behind their reviews and trials. This is how you build a consistant and reliable judgement on an ever growing list of products in a category without becoming biased or inconsistant, nice work bob. p.s. Bob, on your chart with speed bar graph at 3:44, what pad is the one labeled "Monolith"? Is it the M-508? Thanks!

Hi bob! Hope you are well! How does this compare with the Fantech MPC450? Water also glides on that too. Spill proof. Does that mean that these Cordura pads are coated? Will washing them once mean they will absorb water from thereon? Also, can you please advise what causes bubbling of Cordura pads?

@@scry1888 hi, my mpc450 is a year old now, and my most used area is definitely slower. I think at 9 months it was like a tiny bit slower, but now its a good amount slower, still fast tho. Still not a control pad. Problem is, that its inconsistent now, bc when i swipe too far to the right its almost as fast as new, but when i go back to the middle its the slow part. So yeah, getting a Roccat Sense Pro soon, will compare them =)
I used Razer Goliathus Control years ago and now QCK+ and the thin Version (Howl Edition) do you recommend it more for Control over the QCK+ , i just like the speed things but i lose much Aim Control in Csgo and Valorant for example and i play with around about 800dpi 1.4/1.3 = 1000-1200 dpi average. It just feel I need to change something to aim better now. I just got 4 Mice Gpro, Xtrfy M4, Rival 310 and G305 but i think its more with Weight of Mice or Control over the Mousepad itself. I've not seen anything but I heard about the scopes and the splinter cell character. I agree the 1.5x scope will be a nice adjustment as the holo is a bit short if they have an acog.
Dont forget the new sens sliders That scale the sens with the fov like most other games do (took em 5 years and 1 year of petitioning on r6 fix for them to rethink the system)
Thanks for the vid as always mate! I completely agree about the logo really bad and the anti fray stitching looks like it could get in the way but I still think this pad is worth a try.
Mpx 390 or artisan. Which one is fastest glide? It could be really cool since you got them. Try mionix surface analyzer to see which one get the best tracking for mouse.
Should do a review on the tecknet budget mechanical keyboard or the havit mechanical keyboard and mouse set with mouse mat on Amazon’s both budget gear! Would appreciate
I've never had a cordura pad last me less than a year. Assuming EGG didn't screw anything up with the manufacturing it should be a very durable pad (amongst the most durable on the market)
@@Beardedbob This will be an obvious question since in the end its all preference and I do acknowledge that BUT would it be worth "upgrading" from the MP510 to the MPC450? I wear a sports sleeve on my mouse hand so I don't mind the texture, but I am annoyed by the stitched edge. I have used the MP510 as a daily for about a year now.
Has anyone else felt like their mouse scratches a lot on this pad? My mouse with corepads felt very scratchy and bad but my mouse with hyperglides felt good. Could it be that the feet are not broken in yet or is hyperglides just smoother on this pad? Tried hyperglides on s2 it was good corepad on gpro it was bad.
@@Beardedbob They were almost brand new. I ended up not using this pad more since I found all my mice felt more scratchy than I'd like. does the mp510 have more stopping power than the mpc?

has this pad wore out yet and would you recommend it as the best mousepad under 20 if not then can i have recommendations

QcK + also or G640.

Yeah the logo is a problem but the stitching normally I would pick on but on this its decent and doesn't affect my as its low profile.
So how is this pad vs the mpx 390? I like both on paper but i dont know if i can justify the price of mpx...
Mpx has a better base but is smaller. I’ll be doing a review on the mpx very shortly and going over the difference

is this pad speed similar to the speed of the hyperx fury s pro mousepad (non-speed version) ???
It's on par with the mp510. I've not tested the non speed version fury
how would you compare this to the g640? same speed? or slowerand the stopping power?
