"Playing for Change" did a PHENOMENAL treatment of the Doobie Brothers "Listen to the Music", featuring Tom Johnston (the song's composer) and two others of the original band.
Oh, and the women from Jamaica in this video, they were singing in front of Bob Marley's childhood home.

I listened to Playing for change 14 years ago on his first one Stand by me., I cannot believe it has been so long ago and how much things have changed., I have listened to it many times as I loved the concept and the singers., Sadly the black guy that started off Stand by me in So., Calif., died shortly after it was released., I am glad you discovered it.,

Great reaction to a great song by an organisation that deserves a lot more attention for mission to spread peace through music. PFC has been putting out music for over 15 years & as outstanding compositions of some of the best songs around. I started with 'Stand by Me' which was one of their first pieces to get real attention but some of their best are "Teach Your Children' & IMO one of their very best is 'When the Levee Breaks'. Please react to more so they can get more attention & support so they can continue in their mission of making the world a better place.
