In the outskirts of Paris’ neighborhoods, lies a grand manor that was constructed in the year 1897. In contrast to its vivid surroundings, this property lies dormant, after its former inhabitants, the couple Mr. Jean Paul and Mrs. Petra, left it behind in 2017, presumably to start a new life overseas.
It is now a victim to nature, with greenery devouring the garden and exterior walls. Yet, inside it has remained virtually untouched over time.
Mr. Jean Paul was a magnate immersed in high-valuable postage stamps, and forged connections across the Atlantic, particularly in the heart of New York City.
Why this couple never came back after their disappearance in 2017 was untraceable during our exploration. It somehow seems unreal that nobody ever recuperated all the items inside, as if the former French couple just forgot about it. Whether they are still alive today is unknown to me, but today we’re going to honor them nonetheless by offering you a captivating insight into their former Parisian home.

Awesome Still find it kind of surprising when Homes are being abandoned with the furnishings and home decor and household items, it makes me wonder if they died, running from authorities, in jail or were murdered for the most part the house looks well taken care of and orderly. One thing all those travel steamer trunks in the attic surely if they were planning a move to New York, they would have cleaned out the house a little better than that, Thank great house

Nos queda la incógnita de saber que fue de sus propietarios, espero que hayan tenido una vida feliz en Nueva York o París.
Mi habitación favorita la sala de estar y comedor, me encantaron todos los muebles, sobre todo los más elaborados.
El tapiz del sofa y sillones hermoso, pienso que los dueños quisieron recrear la decoración de los castillos, como por ejemplo, en los dormitorios con chimeneas y hermosos espejos.
Los sótanos con alimentos en conserva y las botellas de vino, siempre son interesantes y también los áticos con esa gran cantidad de baúles y maletas. Los baúles antiguos marcados con la palabra "frágil" y con destino New York, nos indica que para la pareja o familia, era muy común viajar y seguramente lo hacían en barco.
Las fotos antiguas muestran también la historia de las familias y viendo las vestimentas de las personas podemos imaginar en qué época fueron capturadas.

Why would anyone would abandoned this beautiful home or have someone buy and restore it instead of leaving it to rot and decay.
War, It's expensive, they foreclose, repossesions, bad financial planning, It's far from other things, descendents don't want it, evading the law or incarceration due to illegal activity

It would be very expensive to transport their belongings overseas. Sadly you are probably correct in saying that they passed away before they could come back to Paris.
A Beautiful home. It would be hard to relocate to New York and bring everything. But family photos would be a must in my opinion! Yet I hope these people are alive and well in NYC🙏.

I am 69 years old. I have loads of old photos but I keep them all in a box not scattered throughout my house lying on furniture unless in frames. How can you sit down and go through your pictures when they are littered over every piece of furniture? Its the same in every video I watch from you and Leslie. Is someone pulling them out and scattering them or do people just leave them lying around in France, Italy?

Love your stuff and I understand you promote your channel but by the time you get to the explore and after a commercial it seems like forever before you get to the explore and it makes me want to skip through and I wish you would show more of the arrival at the properties so as a viewer we can imagine what walking up the house would be like and feel like we know what they saw when you kick off in the house it’s just like any other place, you probably won’t even acknowledge this comment but hey was worth a shot

The reason we often don't show how we walk to these places and how we enter is because it might reveal to much about the location and where it is located, and we do also really care about the preservation of these sites and protecting their integrity and secrecy.
