- This video demonstrates how to unlock 500m altitude limit for DJI Mini 3 Pro drones in India without the use of any software or apps. Moreover, this method is applicable to various DJI drone models, including DJI Mini 4 Pro, DJI Mini 2, DJI Mavic and DJI Air drones.

A question from EU (Italy): I follow the instructions in your video precisely, but when - after having set the maximum height to 500 meters - I press the "accept" button the height value returns to 120 meters and I can't find any way to bring it back to 500. Can you kindly give me a suggestion? Thank you

I was asked by DJI to leave a "new" customer appraisal, but then DJI refused my text because it "was too long", so here goes:
Like my Mini 2, this brand new Mini 4 is generally extremely good so far. I love the new "all-in-one" RC 2 controller. Great kit and the new screen image is excellent in my opinion. Fly-speed is much faster, but sadly the fly-range does not seem improved! It may even be a tad shorter than my old M2, not better for sure! The 20Km range-claim is brazenly fraudulent, I say maybe ~5km! The M4 arms folds easily, but I don't like the fiddly prop-guard. (M2 wrap-guard is simpler!). The M4 bag should be made a tad more generous. (M2 got a better sized bag) The silly two "joysticks" give me no joy! They stick up too much ending with an absurd "war-club". It would be better with 1/3 of the height, and with a simple "mushroom top". Frankly, why can't it be made (like others done) to screw loose (without falling out!) and then pushed down and stored inside?.
Finally, my old cheerful looking DJI AIR is still the best looking drone around. Thank you. 🙂

Hello everyone...I want to ask the users with DJI MiNi 4 Pro drones, do they have a altitude limit of 120m...because I just learned that a limit has been introduced from the 1st of January 2024...I ordered this model, which I will get on Tuesday most likely, but if there really is such a limit in Cyprus of 120 meters altitude for the DJI MiNi 4 Pro models, I will refuse to buy it.....thank you all... 🙂....does anyone know which DJI models this limit will be for..Whether the DJI Air 3 model will have this limit ?
its a european (EASA) regulation. You have to check those to see which drones are under this regulations. As far as i know 120m is for all C0 certified drones, means ALL Minis. You seem unfortunatly have missed the DJI-offered solution to de-certify the Mini4pro before 31.12.2023. I did that and now im completely free up to 500m without any tricks, jupee.

Why use a second camera to record the controller screen? There is a function named "Screen recording" built in in the controller that can be activated.
We get HD screen recording, but second camera gives more options.

Goes back to default of 120m post changing it to max altitude 😢

If we go beyond 500m,it’s a illegal. But still 120m limit is fair enough unless we shoot waterfalls or mountains.
the problem is, that those 120m are ABOVE STARTING POINT and not Above ground. Although with 500m ABV STPT YOU HAVE TO STAY WITHIN 120M GND !!! at least in Europe, other countries i dont know. The 500m are helpful in mountainous regions when ysou climb higher from startingpoit but still within 120 GND.@@DroneMantra
