Yeah, I had a lot of fun with those obstacle avoidance/RTH tests, but I think I about ran that into the ground. When Kevin started sharing those on @WeretheRoberts, they kinda went viral. The first one surprised the heck out of me. Hi, great video about the features of the DJI Mini 4 pro drone! Thank you! 👍 I am considering which drone to get to replace my current dji mini 2: Air 3 or mini 4 pro. Better wind resistance, better battery life/flight time and two cameras would be in favor of the Air 3, but the mini 4 pro would be lighter and that 360 "obstacle avoidance feature" is really attractive!
Thanks Jarimy! Yes, the 360 obstacle avoidance is awesome in this little drone, and the small size enables it to get into tighter places, which it almost always finds a way out of! Check this one out, where I managed to get into a tight spot, surrounded by small bare branches that the obstacle avoidance can't see. Thanks! Which feature are you referring to? The Mini 3 Pro doesn't have 360° obstacle avoidance, but it does have front & back avoidance, but I believe it has the same RTH features.

Thanks Jimbo, yes, it was a slight bump, plus a couple of low-speed crashes into those tiny branches. There are a few small nicks in a couple of prop blades, but I'm not going to change them yet. I have a few more tries on these low-level RTHs first.
Bypass. That's why she kept going around those trees. But she was way off on the precision landing. The landing pad was probably too close to the roof.
