I enjoyed watching the Mike Austin video and also liked the background music. I used the SoundHound app, but it couldn't identify the music. Does anybody know who the artist is and the title?
More should talk about how you look at the ball while setting up instead of how to swing. I'm almost certain the reason so many golfers out there don't succeed because they don't practice variations in their setups until they find the correct one for their body.
I am wondering why the PGA never used that method of playing Golf. Its so much more natural and easy to strike the ball well without slicing the ball. 95% of the Golfers do slice.
@@jacobr4558this. I agree w the OP as the “conventional” golf swing is less healthy compared to Mikes. Spine is not meant to twist bottom line. Mikes swing stacks bones and uses leverage
@@itssuperkylethe lower spine is not meant to twist. The thoracic spine is perfectly designed to turn. Not sure anyone teaches twisting your lower spine. I agree that much of what is taught today is garbage or even harmful. At the same time its not a though Mike Austin had it figured out or explained it very clearly. He seemed like more of a salesman than a golfer to me. Did he win Any tournaments? Was he a competitive player? Just seems more like someone who could hit it far and sell you the "secret". Thats the impression is have many ways. I have watched all of his videos and read much about him and could apply 0% of it in a practical sense. Maybe it works for some but i am not one of those people.
Seems a bit Kwirky, this chap in that attire. But, he does know his stuff & this stuff is circa 1970,or earlier.quite remarkable really & i believe he really CRACKED it. So,max reespect

Why the random picture of Sam Snead?
Seems easy to get the two mixed up since Snead took lessons from Austin and they were both very powerful hitters.
Modern instructors rarely speak of starting the golf swing by moving the angles of the legs … makes golf swing lot easier maybe ??
Great
