I prefer the Hot Racing belllcrank, the stock makes slop because of those shoulder screws you recycled. With the Hot Racing bellcrank it uses a truly smart and simple tie bar set up that eliminates all possibilities of tire slop.
I was just rebuilding my Wltoys 124019-RC as the left front hub went out and I had to put in the full swingarm kit, along with the cornering and because of your video I was able to remove the steering bearing! Thanks!
Wow it's nice to see you expanding your content. I found you first by watching your budget action camera videos years ago. I now have a Slash 4x4 and here I am again watching your vids!!! Keep up the good work.
This looks way better than the hot racing model. However I would like to note that the A arm removal with the stock bulkhead, while easier, is not necessary. You can still rather easily assemble the left and right cranks, put them on the bulkhead then slide in the connecting rod.
If you order this, you better order a metal geared steering servo with it because you will most definitely need one sooner than you think. Trust me I upgraded mine to the aluminum strc bellcrank and the stock servo didn’t last no time.
i know im showing up a little late to the party here, but if I'm thinking correctly the procedure should be very similar in the 4x4 stampede. Correct? i have a stampede that has a very minor pop when steering and i believe this part is the cause of the issue. cuz im watching it wiggle inside on the shaft as it turns.
I don't get it. I watched this and your bulkhead install. I built my truck 5 years ago, went together no problem. Servo horn screw backed off. Took the front bulkhead apart to fix it and now no matter what I do I cannot get the steering linkage/servo to stop binding. Everything is in the same exact position as yours in the video, yet, I slide the bulkhead on, and tires immediately go to drivers side left, can't steer in either direction, binded. What the hell gives

These vids save my life

Even though I'm not into RC's the video is interesting and informative. Well done.
Thank you!

This is my next upgrade. How do you like it. I did my servo drive shaft and HD axles 1st. This should be here by Saturday Monday at the latest.

Great video! Do you have a video to show how to set up an antenna the way you do?
I think it’s hitting the front differential? I don’t know maybe you have a better idea
Are you able to tension the servo saver with the STCR Bell crank?
Bro I have this problem with my Traxxas UDR should I do it same or what can I do the best I found there is a vibration when I do full throttle 💔
Are you living in the uk ? If so where did you get that servo saver I need 1

My only problem with aluminum parts is the chance of them bending.
