So, question about fishing on passage. Here, in Colorado, and other states, one needs a fishing license. What about between islands, in the middle of the ocean, sea, what have you, does one need a license??? I've seen the videos about fishing GEAR, but that is the one thing left out. Or I just plainly missed it!!!! Please and THANK YOU, for all you share!!!

I moved to San Francisco area in the early 1970s. Remember hearing about and reading signs at restaurants in China Town for bird's nest soup. Something like $25 for a bowl which would have been my food budget for an entire week. Back then, Campbell's soup was less than 50 cents per can.
Will make a few calls to see if I can get a bowl today!

You guys need to get a sextant and learn how to use it, and some charts. If you get hit by lightning, or if a CME wipes out the GPS system you will be in a world of hurt. Sextants are cheap. Easy to use and a good backup.

I am Yudi from Singkawang, West Kalimantan Province. I enjoyed watching the boat trip. Because I also once had a boat for fishing. When at sea is an exciting thing. Travel far with the intention of visiting areas that we have never visited is exciting. The world is so vast and has a diversity of cultures, flora and fauna. It's also great to see your video in Kumai, Kotawaringin Barat District, Central Kalimantan Province. Kalimantan is very broad, there are still many places you can visit here. Back to the contents of the video about swallow's nest, swallow's nest is one of the mainstays of the Kalimantan region. In West Kalimantan Province also many people make swallow houses (our term here). The price is very tempting, even though the price had dropped dramatically. It used to be 30 million rupiah per kilogram. Around C $ 2892.87 in today's exchange rate. At present there may be only 5 million rupiah to 15 million rupiah per kikogram, this is adjusted to the quality of the nest. It's nice to see you visiting our area. I suggest trying Bangka Belitung Province and Riau Islands Province. Many islands that can Kaliam enjoy its natural beauty. But you may also stop by to West Kalimantan at its northern tip. Sambas Regency. There is a tourist spot called Temajuk or Temajok. Have a nice trip.

my dad is 90 almost 91 and he has all of that yet he can sail his boat single-handed. He does have electric winches autopilot and bow thrusters and everything else you can think of. A 50 ft monohull. He has taken it to the western Caribbean and Northern Bahamas and this past year the southern Bahamas. Quite amazing. Not sure where he is going this year he is working on that.,
