Trail Running - "Plogging" with Team Nordic Trail

- PLOGGING - is the swedish word for just picking up trash while you are out jogging! Pretty smart huh? :)
And it is super easy, just bring a plastic bag with you on your next run/walk/hike/trailrun and just pick any trash you might find a long you way.
This was the 1st official plog run in Örebro and about 15 persons turned up at Naturens Hus. We split up into 3 groups and head out in different directions. 1 hour later we all met up again to put all the trash we found in larger plastic bags.
All in all we collected around 10-12 kg of trash. We found everything from cigarettes, napkins, plastic containers and broken bottles. And this is a area of Örebro that is considered one of the cleanest places in town.
But now we hope more people will join this movement and make our nature even more beautiful!!

Great idea! Me and my wife we just talking about trash outside the other day. When we first moved to NC it was spotless which was a drastic change from living in Jersey. Now the trash on the ground is starting to compare. I might have to do this on my next few runs!!!
RunDrinkEat Yeah it's crazy how people just drop trash in the nature. It's really easy just to bring a trash bag and pick up some of the stuff along the way 👍😀👍
