    Subbed! Finally someone who really dumbed it down. My question is due you loose latency by going SBUS? You mentioned you at least get to keep RSSI what about smart audio? :)

    • @GeorgeCooper_LoneWolf
      @GeorgeCooper_LoneWolf  3 года назад +2

      Hi, thanks for the Sub. No, you won't lose latency, and yes you can still get smart audio if you have a smart audio pad on your flight control board. But you will have to wire it, from a spare pad on the TBS Nano, then select the channel in the ports tab. To find out which channel you're using on the nano if you google ( pinout for tbs nano ) so you know which channel your using see link
      and go to page two. www.team-blacksheep.com/tbs-crossfire-nano-quickstart.pdf
      This reads more complicated than it is to do ( Sorry about that ) It's basically adding another wire from the Nano to the smart audio pad then telling Betaflight which channel you put it on.
      However, If you have a spare RX/TX pad on your flight control board it's much easier to wire it up the first way and get full Crossfire in one go. Hope this helps

      @@GeorgeCooper_LoneWolf Excellent explanation! This makes perfect sense. I'll have to watch your archive videos. I'm sure there's more Intel that I can learn from. Thanks for doing this for us "new" people 😁🤙🙌. One question I did have you can't share a pad for smart audio correct? I have a stack that connects to each other and I'm pretty sure its being used within that pin connector.

    • @GeorgeCooper_LoneWolf

      @@armani007E55 Happy to help. What stack are you using ? if you're not sure because you have a ready to fly quad, just let us know which quad you have and I will look it up and get back to you.

    Hi George, just came across this video as I am switching to crossfire. Great video indeed!
    I just have a question. You mention nano rx can be hooked up to an sbus pad on the FC but usually sbus pads are inverted uarts for Frsky sbus and I understand that in this particular case the nano rx will not work. Can you please confirm you need a non inverted pad (or a regular non inverted uart) to make it work? Thanks!

    • @GeorgeCooper_LoneWolf
      @GeorgeCooper_LoneWolf  3 года назад

      If you wire the TX from the Nano to the Sbus pad on your FC you should have no problems. However, don't forget you need to select Sbus in betaflight on the configurations page "NOT" CRSF and change from crsf to sbus in your radio.
      If you still have problems tell me what FC board your using and your Transmitter / Crossfire set up, so I can try and help more. Also, don't forget to update your Nano & Crossfire in TBS Agent X

    Hello George, i need help: my tbs crossfire nano lost the antenna when flying, after that the rx keeps flashing, after I bind the receiver is connected but disconnected again after the battery is removed. Is my RX broken? thank you

    • @GeorgeCooper_LoneWolf
      @GeorgeCooper_LoneWolf  4 года назад +1

      There's a chance the nano got damaged after the antenna came off. However, you may be able to sort it with a firmware update. Download the latest virion of
      (Agent X ) from the TBS website "Take the props off" your quad then plugin your TBS transmitter/module to your PC and plug in a battery and power up the Quad whilst running Agent X first of all update the nano then update the transmitter with the same firmware version you updated the nano. Normally you would do this the other way around but try it. If this does not work then it may be damaged beyond repair and you will need a new one SORRY. Hope this helps buddy...

    Hi, i have also the tbs tango 2 and its says sometimes "sensor lost" having 99% rssi.... what that means?

    • @GeorgeCooper_LoneWolf
      @GeorgeCooper_LoneWolf  4 года назад +5

      First thing don't panic (Not a big problem) More of a pain to your ears than anything ells, and don't worry about the RSSI as long as your getting a good signal your fine.
      Now assuming you have no lose wires on your receiver, this can sound off because of a glitge and a firmware update will sort it out so try that first. Now if that dose not work, as funny as it sounds you can simply remove the Sensor loss sound your getting, Hears step by step how to do it on the Tango 2.
      #1 Press and hold the menu button to get into Radio settings
      #2 Press the page button once to get to the SD Card tab
      #3 Scroll down to sounds and click enter (on the scroll wheel)
      #4 Select ( en ) = English and click enter
      #5 Now find your sensor sound ( you can click enter to play the sounds to find the right one, and once you have you can either Rename it witch should stop it from sounding off, or Delete it, however if you rename it you can always reset it up again if needed for any reason ( so make a note of the original name )
      hope this helps.
